My Whirlpool Duet Washing machine walked across the floor. No matter how precise I leveled the leveling feet, it would "walk" or just move across the floor. A Washing machine is heavy and a front loader rotates counter clockwise. This caused the washer to move in a constant direction counter clockwise on the floor. With clothes and water, the machine is heavier. I installed these anti vibration pads which was a simple task. Using a board I was able to lift a corner up onto the a pad and doing this at each corner I was able to easily position the pads under each foot.. I marked the location of each pad and started a load. The machine did not move at all from its position. It was quieter. After the first week and six loads, I thought I had found a solution. For 26 days the machine did not move. On the 26th day I went to remove the clothes from the washer and it has moved seven inches. I found this hard to believe - no movement for 25 days and now this huge movement. I removed the four anti vibration pads to see how the failed. The pads are not solid, but have a web underneath. This web is a "+" within a circle. The web is to give support to the center, but in this case the web had rolled over in a counter clockwise direction. The rubber is not a super hard rubber (allows for absorption of vibration), but this is its downfall, the rubber is not strong enough to resist the twisting force between the floor and the machine. Would a solid bottom work better? This would reduce the chance of the base center material from failing and collapsing downward, which would then lift the circumference material from contact with the floor. I have ordered a solid bottom anti vibration pad and hope this will last longer. It would be nice if the Mfg identified the durometer of the material used. I would not want a super had rubber, but one that can grip the floor evenly. ... show more

Reduces noise, and it's a must buy if your machine is on flat concrete surface to prevent slippage. Also if it's a new washer, and it is way to loud, and shakes; most likely you haven't removed the transport bolts on the back.

    • Did not work for my top load washing machine
Used under a whirlpool top load washer which over time tended to walk on tile floor, requiring me to move it back about every 15th wash cycle or so. Put these under all four feet and the washing machine jumped all over the place, very badly... I shut down and made sure it was level, adjusted correctly, it was. Started up again and again it was awful. I pulled the rubber pads out and resumed the spin cycle and had only the minor little vibration it always had. These did not work at all for me. Very disappointed, waste of time, effort, and money for my top load machine on a tile floor. ... show more

    • Stacked Washer/Dryer
I recently moved into a place that has a stacked washer and dryer. Problem was the dryer kept moving around on the top of the washer in a cubbyhole enclosed on three sides when the washer was spinning. It would bang against the wall and rattle the dishes in the kitchen and if I didn't hold the dryer still during the spin cycles it would even slip off of the washer to one side or the other. My friend suggested building a shelf in the cubbyhole to set the dryer on which sounded like way more than I wanted to get in to. I wanted to glue the feet onto the top of the washer. We then found these foot pads. I received them quickly, and we got them under the feet (with quite a lot of difficulty on the back feet because you couldn't reach back or have room in the cubby even for leverage. Otherwise it was a cinch to put the feet of the dryer into the pads. Much to my disbelief and delight the pads work like a dream, it's now more quiet and the dryer stays completely in place.     • Will work if washer isn't heavy
So I have an LG washer and the side kick (small washer in the pedastal). I bought these products to make sure sidekick can open even with drain tray present. Unfortunately the washers were way too heavy and it basically squished these down flat. It was too late to have installer remove or no time to get other ones that were more heavy duty. Ended up having to cut drain pan to allow sidekick to open. ... show more

we put a new floor in our laundry room and I didnt want the washer vibrating and moving and messing up my new floor. someone suggested I get these to put under the legs and it will help the vibrations and the moveing. First let me say it was a challange to get it in the right place and the washer level but it proved to be worth the money and frustration of setting it. After the first wash we noticed a difference. No crazy jumping or moving or loud vibrations it stayed put and even though you can clearly see the washer shaking in the final spin it didnt vibrate or shake or move. the pads/cushioning for my washer legs had worn out. I couldn't find the exact model number on amazon, and was hesitant to spend $20 per leg for new ones if I wasn't sure they'd fit. then I discovered these beauties! Have had this product for couple weeks. Using on a pedestal mounted washer. At first glance believe product should hold up to weight of the washer. However, after having to shift washer, found the rubber had collapsed upon itself and really provide minimal support and or dissipation of vibration to the floor.
