When I changed States I was able to buy a washer and dryer used for the first time in 20 years. I have a broken leg and was unable to go out and physically put eyes on the machines so had to buy them off text pictures which don't do them justice. When they arrived the washing machine had rust coming out of every hole and when I took the top of the agitator off it was so nasty it almost made me throw up. So I called the company I bought them at and told them I wanted to exchange the washer. While I was waiting for an available one to come in, I ran one of these tablets through as directed and checked on it when it was in the wash and rinse cycle and the filth that was coming out was enough to make you gag. When I finally got the newer washer, the first thing I did was run one of these tablets through and it was absolutely clean but made me feel a whole lot better. So going forward I will make sure and run one of these through according to the directions. My daughter found this through videos on YouTube where the guy shows you machines he's taken apart, cleaned and put back together and really impressed on us how important it is to follow directions and not use fabric softener.

My washer smelled REALLY bad. I tried several white vinegar washes /soaks and tried bleach wash/soak. Neither of those worked. I bought these Active Washing Machine cleaner tablets and used them every two weeks. ( I would suggest if you have an older model washer with a short wash cylcle... to let it mix..stop cycle..let it sit for 30 minutes or so...then turn it back on... but DO NOT let the wash cycle drain... run the wash cycle twice... then let it do its normal full wash/rinse ) It worked FANTASTIC! With just 4 treatments 2 weeks apart..the smell was completely gone! Be prepared though to see A LOT of scummy stuff coming out with the drain water. I put a screen in my laundry tub drain to catch it all. Also had to wipe down inside of drum because there was so much goopy crud loosened and coming through the drum holes. Mind you... my washer is not very old and only 2 people of laundry... no excessive dirty clothes. Shocking how nasty the inside of the washer (the part you can't see ) can get so nasty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product. I will be using it always now as a maintenance to keep a nice clean washer!

We have been using cleaner tablets for two years now. One of the things that other frontload washer owners have talked to us in the past about has been how eventually they have a hard time getting a funky smell out of their washer even if they do the draining maintenance. After two years of using these tablets, I can confidently say that we have not had any issues with our frontload washer when it comes to smells or anything related to a dirty machine. These have been amazing. My only gripe is that they come in a 12-month pack but Amazon's Subscribe and Save only has 6-month ordering options. We end up splitting the pack with some friends of ours.

It didn’t work as directed, , the dirty water scent was still inside after using it as directed so I always find a way… what I did was go to my hot water heater and increase the temperature , waited 30 minutes for the water inside the boiler to reaches optimum temperature then I filled my washing machine with hot water on a large load and right when it got to the top, I open the door and let it sit with six tabs inside for 20 minutes , and then I close the door and allow it to continue. It’s normal washing cycle. That’s what it took for this 15 year old machine that’s never been serviced to be cleaned. So it does what it says, but not as directed for machines as big as old as mine is so take that into account - hope this helps somebody else having the same problem with me

i have tried other brands before so i was already a bit skeptical, but most youtube videos i've seen recommend this specific brand and it surprisingly outperformed all other brands at a cheaper price as well! i love that it comes with 24 pieces, i have only used 1 so far and it worked amazing! so havent had a need to use more as of yet, but really impressed since this 1 pod cleaned it better than 6 of the other competitor brands, not kidding!

I used one tablet, and it reduced the smell about 3/4. Then I did a regular wash, and then did a second tablet. Immediately after doing a laundry, I think I smell a little mildew. But a few hours later, the smell is 100% gone, and that's nice for a change. The most difficult part is getting up the nerve to run a "Hot" wash with no clothing in there, but only a tablet. But it's worth it. Front loader. When you start the machine with nothing but a tablet in there, the tablet makes a clunking sound, but the noise ends in a minute or two. I think half the mildew stains on the big rubber door gasket are about 50% gone. But I don't think it's worth using another tablet until the smells come back. I have another 22 tablets with nothing to do, so I'm willing to share. Maybe if I dissolve a tablet in a small bowl, I could use the solution to scrub away more of the gasket stain. Probably deserves dishwashing gloves. Except, the gasket stains are only esthetic, so its not worth spending time trying that experiment. But the tablets are the right job if your machine's got mildew smells.

Use these tablets 2 times a month to keep my front load LG washer clean. Does not smell musty like it used to and looks clean. Just drop 1 tablet in washer and run it on sanitary and it comes out nice and clean. Used to use Tide washing machine cleaner but think these tablets ⁹do a better job and are definitely alot cheaper. Been using these tablets for 2 years to clean and sanitize my washer without a problem. No more gunk in the door gasket.
