I wish these worked as I read people preferred/recommended them for Marlin 1895. I have a Vortex Viper PST 50mm objective with 30mm main tube and description says it will work but when math is done there is about 1mm interference.     • The Verticle Split Is A P.I.T.A To Install
Warne is a known quality brand, but the vertical split rings are a pain in the @$$ getting installed. The recoil lug is held between the two sides. In the process of trying to get proper eye relief I took the scope off and back on the picatinny rail a few times and each time the recoil lug bits fell out. Ultimately I bought a cantilever style mount and rings as these did not allow room for my brass catcher , so these are sitting in a drawer for another day. ... show more

These are great rings, and they stay where you put them. I only buy Warne. Just make sure you use a torque wrench when installing any rifle scope. I would get the Fat Wrench from Wheeler engineering.
