This review is more a knock on the vendor for their description. As another review mentioned this does not include the fairlead mounting plate as the description implies. I had to purchase one but for a synthetic line name brand 4500 lb winch it is still a decent deal. Warns plate was around $70. FYI, KFI makes one for around $40. I have four other Warn winches that are great so I’m not worried about durability. ... show more

    • Was told it fit 2011 RZR 4, It didnt.
From my understanding this is replacing the older RT versions. I havent used it yet but its warn so it will most likely work great, my issue is that it didnt fit my RZR and thats not fault of the winch. Id say before you order make sure the dimensions are right.

Bought a new Viper Max 4500 for my 2016 POLARIS XP ranger 900. First time trying it out whinching it in. The drum literally fell apart. Bought this warn and it's a Hoss. Pulls good dosent bog down. I hope it last for many years.

This winch is the worst thing I’ve ever bought very disappointed in warn haven’t had it on my Honda pioneer a month and it already is broken used it once to pull a log off a fence and it won’t engage or disengage from free spool worst investment I’ve ever made!
