  • wonderfully warm
my mouse fingers always hurt from the cold all winter, and this mouse is awesome! it is super warm! size is small - but i have small hands and this is just a far more pleasant and comfortable fit! What sucks is i've found that even when the computer goes to sleep , the heat stays on. makes me concerned it could be an unattended fire hazard. You can remember to turn it off from underneath...but there is no visual indicator whether it is heated or cold. it stays lit red when connected to a computer independent of the heat setting. unproven, but having the mouse connected seems to wake my computer from sleep at intervals - at least i noticed it had 'waken' a couple times yesterday evening and i hadn't seen that before. so i'm not sure if the mouse is sending 'noise' to the computer. ... show more

  • A Must for Cold hand/Fingers
I have constantly suffered with my right hand and fingers being cold when I work (8-10 hours a day) and thought there is no way there could be an alternative. When in doubt, always check Amazon! I had ordered a different version that had a slipper like look to it and it was just too bulky and I couldn't move the mouse around easily. I then found this product and it has been wonderful. No more cold hands/fingers! It does get a bit hot at times but nothing concerning. I have even left it plugged in overnight and there has not been an issue with overheating. The design is ergonomic and very comfortable to use and has all the features of a normal mouse. Give your cold hand and fingers some relief and buy this! ... show more

  • Comfort without impacting the energy bill
Working from home and trying to keep some control over my heating bill by keeping the thermostat set very low, my mouse hand was always cold. This was to the point of being distracting, slightly painful and to a point, slowed my productivity. I tried several other solutions, including a low wattage "personal" size space heater (warmth was negligent, still too expensive to run all day), heated plush mouse pad hand warmer (hand was only warmer while inside of the mouse garage, but logically felt hugely colder, when outside of it. Too, it was inconvenient and awkward to constantly take my hand in and out of it to use the keyboard), half finger gloves (hand was warmer, but fingers were still freezing), etc., but none worked for me. I had no idea that such a thing as a "heated mouse" was even available and sure wish I'd found this before spending the money yet getting no relief from those things. This mouse is for me the perfect solution all the way around. I find that low heat setting provides sufficient heat, but I do like that there an option to turn it up if I choose to. Well done ValueRays, this product is such a blessing! ... show more

  • Okay... at best
I bought my last heated mouse in 2014 from Amazon. It was a great little mouse and still works, but after so many years and the last two years of increased sanitizing, the plastic started feeling sticky. So, I bought this on to replace my old one. It's okay so far but definitely as good as my old one. First of all, it heats the fingers but not the palm, which my old one did fine. Secondly, the heat settings are on the bottom of the mouse, which is inconvenient (old one had a switch in line with the cable). Thirdly, the high setting is honestly too hot. I'm actually a little concerned leaving this mouse on when I leave work for the day. I never worried about that with my old mouse. Lastly, it's very light and feels flimsy compared to my old one. But I work in a cold office, so I love having something to keep my hand warm. I'm hoping I get used to it. And hopefully it'll continue running. Regardless, compared to what I had (which isn't available anymore), it definitely feels like a step down. ... show more

  • Game changer for a chilly office
My husband had the older version I got for him for Christmas one year. This version newer is a bit smaller and more ergonomic than the previous version and for me that's perfect. I have a small hand and the other version felt awkward. This mouse gets toasty warm and I only need it on low. High actually gets a bit sweaty. It will turn off after sitting still so leaving it plugged in overnight seems safe and my husband has done that for over two years with his. I'm giving it 4 stars only because the first one I got became glitchy where the cursor would jump around on its own after the first week but I was within the return window so I got a new one and it's been a couple months now and it's been great. Hopefully it lasts as long as my husband's version that's been going strong for two years, but even if not I would definitely buy it again. ... show more

  • Warm fingers
I have Reynauds so my fingers get very cold in (WI) winter months. This mouse works well, the high seeing is very warm but perfect to start out with and then turn to the lower setting. Just wish it would be "on a timer" so I didn't forget to shut off

  • Buttons used to warm up, but no longer works after 2 weeks
Update - I have had this about 2 weeks and in no longer heats up. Changing rating to a 1 star. The buttons where your fingers sit warm up nicely. The low setting is pretty good and the high setting is very toasty-warm. That is about all I can say that is good. The pam area doesn't seem to warm up much. The little red plastic inlays on the side, that light up, are not totally flush with the rest of the mouse, and have a sharp edge. The mouse is also has a very cheap, plastic feel. There is no weight to the mouse. The corners on the glide pads on the bottom also seem to catch on my mouse pad. Hopefully those will round off a little and glide better with more use. $25 is way too much to spend for this. ... show more
