The design on this peel and stick wallpaper is pretty awesome. It's pretty believable. I gave it 4 stars simply because it tore while trying to take the backing paper off because I wasn't careful enough. I didn't use this for the expected purpose. I didn't use it on a wall or on a countertop. I actually used it to fake a decent backdrop for small items that I need to photograph. I love the top-of-the-line brand name company that specializes in backdrops for product photography but since I am not doing it professionally and I am only using my phone to take pictures, I decided to try my hand at a DIY version. For my version, I used a black foam board and a white foam board. I used this concrete wallpaper to fake a counter and a white hex tile wallpaper to be the wall. For my purposes, this was perfect.

Very easy to install because there is no pattern you can use almost every bit of this wallpaper. I put it up in the salon by myself it’s been up for months. Backsplash from the sink still no problems.

I used this to cover a small area for a backboard. The print looks nice, and the paper is thick. No issues with the adhesive, except the edges come up slightly. Pattern is easy enough to match up if you reverse each other strip.

I used this on countertops and in front of my fireplace. It does look like concrete in front of the fireplace and has lasted for a month now. But on the countertops it has gotten holes and is starting to lift. To be fair I don’t think it is specifically made to be used on counters. So if you are just using on walls it’s a good buy. It’s thick and easy to install.

We wanted a “hearth” for our electric fireplace but didn’t want to get custom-cut slate. I decided to give this peel-and-stick wallpaper a try, laminated to a piece of lauan plywood with back edge cut to fit the shape of the fireplace. I painted the lauan edge a charcoal gray, like slate. This stick-on wallpaper worked like a charm! Just work slowly, only peeling the backing bit by bit as you go, and carefully smoothing with a plastic scraper. This improves adhesion and eliminates bubbles and ripples. After the entire surface is covered, go back over it with the scraper I make sure every square inch is stuck properly in place. Carefully cut the free edge(s) with a very sharp Xacto knife or similar, holding the free paper taut as you cut. IMPORTANT: Do NOT let the paper stick to itself - it is nearly impossible to peel the paper off itself if you get it stuck together. Other than that, this stuff is not bad to work with if you are careful and PATIENT. Unless you touch the surface of my “hearth”, you’d never know it isn’t slate.

It was easy to install, I used it to reuse a tabletop for my office desk. I do recommend watching a few videos on how to make the corners a bit more professional looking I did it on a whim, but still not a deal breaker for me. Really made my office look upscale. I did this in less than 20mins. Also, the seams are not visible!!
