I like that this kit includes a knife with replacement blades, and two different devices for smoothing out the paper as it is applied. Better than just putting on by hand, and so inexpensive.

I recently tried out a smoothing tool kit for peel and stick wallpaper, and overall, I’m really impressed with it! The kit comes with two smoothing devices—one larger and one smaller. The bigger tool is great for covering large areas quickly, while the smaller one is perfect for getting into tighter spaces and around edges. It also includes a flexible measuring tape, which was super useful for ensuring my wallpaper was cut to the right size and positioned perfectly. Additionally, the kit comes with a blade to help trim the wallpaper precisely. However, I did encounter one minor issue: the blade kept falling out of its holder. It may have been because I was applying a bit too much pressure, but I really wish the blade holder was more secure or sturdier. Despite that, I still think this is an excellent kit. Worked perfectly for hanging wallpaper. The blade is super sharp so use caution. Comes with and extra blade. Made hanging paper easy and smoothed out the wrinkles. Worth the money.

It’s an EH for me. Maybe with a really thin wallpaper it would work but it was not really great, just usable, for the wallpaper I chose. Specifically, the paper I chose had like a string inside the paper, unbeknownst to me, for added strength and this couldn’t cut those well. So I ended up using it over and over to score the paper and then had to tear the scored line and then use scissors every time I got to a string to cut it. The little scraper to help lay it flat was helpful. One is big and totally plastic the other is small and has like a velvet side. Just be careful with the large uncovered one because I pressed too hard to get my paper flat and the corner went through the paper and I had to start that section over. It comes with an extra cutting blade that screws on which is helpful.
