I needed a super light, easy to pack jacket to take on vacation for a variety of weather conditions. I was very happy with my coat which was ordered in a sunny, vibrant yellow. Although being light and airy, it did provide warmth as needed without making me sweaty as some coats do. I was also able to layer it with a fleece for colder, windier days or evenings. I loved the zippered pockets (extra safety while traveling) and my husband was definitely able to find me in a crowd with this color! Even though I bought this jacket for travel, I know I'll be wearing this for regular use as seasons change in my northeastern city (where we all own serious winter coats for inclement weather). At least for me, this wouldn't be warm enough when the temp or windchill is under 45. But it was perfect for the mostly 50+ degree temps we encountered. Love it!

I didn't really expect much from this packable lightweight jacket when I purchased it. I didn't have room for a heavy coat for a short trip with only one carry-on bag, and I knew it would be chilly where I was going. I bought this with the expectation that I'd pretty much freeze any time I set foot outdoors, and it would probably be falling apart by the time I got home. Well, it's now become one of my favorite light jackets. It doesn't look cheap; I get compliments on it when I wear it, which is often. It fits nice, really packs down into a tiny little bundle and, most importantly, it's a lot warmer than it looks. Would I wear it in a blizzard? No way! But it does a surprisingly good job keeping me warm, especially considering how lightweight it is. I think its real strength is as an outer layer over a hoodie or sweater; it runs true to size, but I wish I'd bought a large for layering. That said, I've worn it over a short-sleeved shirt in the 50s and even mid- to high-40s. I wouldn't stand outside for hours in it, but it's perfect for running errands when you're only outdoors a few minutes at a time. Overall, it's well-made, but the zipper does feel flimsy. I'm always worried it's going to snag and break. I'm very careful when zipping and unzipping it and so far, so good, but if you're impatient and generally hard on zippers, this might not be the best pick for you. The material feels thin, so I wouldn't go crashing through brambles, either. Don't forget, it takes awhile to puff up when you unscrunch it; if you unpack it and try to wear it right away, you might as well wear a pillowcase. Once its air pockets puff back up, it does a good job. For travel and light-duty use, it's perfect! UPDATE: It's January 2020, and I'm still wearing this jacket. It's pretty much my go-to jacket on days when it's chilly outside. It still looks nice, the zipper still works, no tears or rips, even though I've brushed up against sharp edges with it more than once. After 2+ years, I'm really happy with my purchase!

The fit is exact, if you want to fit a sweater or sweatshirt under it or want any room, size up. Nice, warm, ends at the hip. Nice pockets. The zipper will open up if you crouch down, and is plastic so not sure how long it will last. Got the yellow, nice color and super visible when walking.

This is a fairly thin down jacket, but that is part of why I ordered it. I have a fuller down jacket and its often a little too much. This jacket is versatile - you can use it by itself on mild days or for colder weather I often use this as a layer under a semi-oversize jacket and that works so well, very toasty but not bulky. Its cute and functional.

Nice weight pack-able jacket but there is an elastic band inside on the bottom of the jacket. This caused the jacket to ride up and an bunch out when moving around. It did not hang straight on the body.

Upon opening the plastic wrap around the coat, the horrifically pungent smell of a floral scented trash bag hit me in the face. The odor is SO STRONG! the elastic around the wrists and waist are as sturdy as a rubber band… very cheap! Would never recommend

There are two Wantdo jackets that are identical except that one has a hood, and the other doesn't. This is the one that doesn't have a hood. I ordered one of each to compare (and to get the color I preferred). Well made, zipper is solid, and it really does pack into the little bag as shown in the product description. And pack in with little effort. I went up a size to allow for layers underneath. Without layers, I think this will go to about 40 degrees and still be comfortable. The sleeves ends are elastic, and are a little loose, so you will lose some heat that way. I like the Wando jacket very much.
