Tires seem to be good quality and were very easy to install without any tools. Bought new tubes and placed them inside tire with small amount of air. Placed one side tire bead on the rim and worked the other bead onto the rim with my fingers. They look great and ride smoothly.

Purchased for a back tire that was a "maypop". Since it was an back tire I did not attempt to change it and took it to a bike repair shop. Most bike shops will charge you $8 to $10 to change and will only take them 15 to 20 minutes. Well worth it! Got it changed and no problems. Upon taking it out on the bike paths had a flat on the front tire...….repaired the inter-tube and enjoying bike riding now!! ... show more

Bought theses for my wife's bike, I installed them myself which took me like 15 minutes for both. They smoothened the ride when compared to the original mountain bike tires the at came when bought the bike. Thus far, happy with them for the aprox 150 miles we've put on them.

Bought these tires to convert my knobby down-hill tires into something more 'smooth road worthy'. I was not disappointed! Arrived on time coiled up in box. (note: uncoil the tires and lay them in the sun if possible to loosen them up to get out 'the shipping bends'.) I also replace my inner tubes as well.... INSTALLATION: 1. After tires have rounded into shape (mostly) from lying in the sun, gently insert inner tube into the tire (tire should NOT be on the rim 2. The inner tube may lie in the tire a little 'sloppy' at first (to be expected) 3. Here is the trick. SLOWLY fill the inner tube (as it lies in the tire) until it takes the shape of the tire - this will DRAMATICALLY help with rim installation. DO NOT OVERFILL 4. Once inner tube is somewhat inflated and fits snugly into the tire, place valve stem thru the time rim valve stem hole 5 Slowly work tire/inner tube combo 'around the rim' gently locking the tire bead into the rim bead. 6. Once that is complete, work your hands around the whole tire ensuring that the tire/inner tube fits snugly on the rim. If you have done this correctly the tire/rim configuration will look like a 'normal flat tire' 7. At this point, fill the tire (thru the valve stem) using an air compressor (or foot pump) 8. Inflate to MFG recommendation 9. Now you can enjoy a smooth ride on flat even surfaces just like a cruiser!! ... show more

Mine are 26" rather than the listed 12-inchers, but whatevs: I LURRRVE THEM. I bought two to give my 1987 Schwinn Sierra's 26x1.75 rims some added panache for the bike's 30th birthday. The tires fit nicely and look pretty spectacular to boot (even now that they're covered in tarry road grime and dirt.) They're a 40psi balloon design instead of my original tires' 65psi, too, and this subtle difference actually gives me enough added suspension that I noticed the difference in comfort immediately. ... show more

40-65psi pressure rating is nice. Most cruiser tires i've had are 42psi max. Makes me think these might be heavier duty. Adequate tread for city and bike paths, great price. So far so good, haven't put many miles on them yet.
