I am 5'7..size 6..36A..athletic build..wearing a size small for a semi loose fit. I probably could have done a size medium as well for a more loose oversized fit. I think it depends on the fit you prefer. The material is a thick knit and is very soft and comfortable on the body as well as has stretch. I did think the bottoms are a bit see through as you can see the tag through the material so I'd definitely wear all nude undergarments. This set looks great with or without a belt. I got this in a medium which is my normal size (women’s 8) and the top is huge on me! Way bigger than any of the photos of other people wearing theirs. It fits like an XL. Meanwhile the shorts are kinda snug, not too small but definitely out of proportion to the top. The color also matched too much - in the photo the teal top is lighter than the shorts but they’re identical in real life. Unfortunately that just makes it look worse because the top is so big, even if I tuck it in it’s super unflattering. I like the fabric but I wish the proportions were more even. ... show more

This was super cute! I loved this combo. It’s casual but trendy. It’s knit but it’s not hot—and I live in Hawaii. The only con is that after washing it, I noticed a little fading on the blouse. I didn’t read the care instructions carefully and didn’t know that this was hand wash only. I machine washed it and placed it in the dryer. I usually avoid handwash-only clothes because I just don’t have time to do that. So, that’s a bummer. Ok, so I made the unfortunate mistake of thinking that because they were shorts they would be ok to wear in Florida in September…..I cannot even begin to tell you how sweaty I was. Anyway, I’m not a huge fan of the top (I think the cut makes my arms look big). But the shorts I love. 5’4” 122 lbs. and the small fit great. I just know now that they are not for summer weather, the knit material is thick. This would be a great spring set or for cooler summer nights.
