I don’t mind that these are made from cheap thin metal. I figured they would do the job fur a short time. Bad part is these don’t even do the job. The circle clip portion is too small to act as a catch for my Rainbow. It does not catch in the grooves to be able to hold the handle/wand assembly together. But at your own risk. They were not large enough to work for my rainbow, mind you it is an older version but I figured the wand is somewhat universal. ... show more

    • Perfect fit
I did have to spread the wings apart a little bit to get the right fit that I wanted. Vacuum shops didn't have any options for me. Such a simple and affordable fix. No more wasting effort, trying to hold my vacuum together, while I work.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These aren’t exact replicas of the original (at least not if you have the e2 black) but they get the job done just fine.

Button is too small and only holds 20 percent of the time for my rainbow vacuum cleaner. Height of buttons need to be larger with better quality of metal. Metal is too thin to last and be a fix that will last

STOP! Please DON’T BUY THIS. Trust me! I needed to replace one of these on my Rainbow vacuum hose. I saw this on Amazon (“Oh, wow! How convenient!) and I bought one of these back in November ‘24. Replacing the part is super easy, but, once you compare the old one with the new one, there will be a noticeable difference in the thickness (i.e., the springiness). Within a few uses, you’ll quickly realize that it does a poor job of holding the hoses together - I’m not exaggerating. Save your time and money and buy an OEM (original) from “RainVac.” It’s slightly cheaper (including shipping), but shipping takes about 10-days. OEM is the “way to go” on these clips. ... show more
