Purchased this console to fit a 43" TV. I also needed to take into consideration the size of the console because of the small space it needed to fit. I questioned the quality of this stand because of the price but as soon as I received it, I completely changed my mind. A quality product at a reasonable price. We love it! It took my husband about 2-1/2 hours to put it together. All of the predrilled holes matched and all of the hardware needed was included. Everything fit together so perfectly that you would never know it was a piece of furniture that needed to be assembled. I highly recommend this console.

Once you have the final product assembled and in use, this TV stand is quite nice, though I'm not totally convinced it is the best choice for a 55 inch TV. I have a 50 inch Fire TV that I purchased this for, and it takes up almost the entire top shelf. Certainly I would expect to fit a 55 inch TV on top of this, but would expect to have room to put a small succulent or something as the image (at time of writing) associated with this TV stand suggests. If you just want to put your TV up, then yes it will fit TVs 55 inches or smaller. The actual final product looks really nice. It's been a couple months since I assembled it so I don't remember if it is wood, or particleboard with a wood finish, but either way I don't notice a difference. Of all the self assmble furniture I've purchased in the last year (which is a shocking amount. I'm so over building shelving units), this is definitely the most solid piece I've purchased, and it had no signs of cheap manufacturing (chipped edges, flaking finishes, holes that don't line up cleanly). Once you've got the thing assembled and in use, I think this TV set is really, really nice. The assembly is poopy. While this was the most solid, well manufactured furniture I put together all year, this assembly took multiple hours, and the directions were just barely clear enough to get it done correctly. I actually made a mistake near the end and had to partially disassemble to set because the instructions were hard to follow. On the bottom of the unit, there's this little stabilizer leg (I've not convinced what a 5th leg in the center is supposed to do to stabilize the unit, but ok sure) that doesn't have holes predrilled, so you've gotta wrestle a mostly built stand on its side and hold the 5th leg in place while pushing a screw in... its a whole thing. I think in the end this was worth my time to assemble; but if you're really bad at assembling furniture or don't have the time and patience, you don't want to get this unless you are prepared to pay someone to put it together for you. Some notes about the final product: It is a little bit squat. I don't think it is prohibitively short or anything, but the unit comes out at just under 2 feet tall, which might be a little surprising. When I sit on the couch and watch TV I find it is a perfectly comfortable viewing height. The actual cubbyholes in the unit are really short. If you plan on putting a book collection, DVD or video game collection, or a storage basket you've got in the closet which needs a home, don't expect these items to fit. The shelving DOES fit most modern sized radios, entertainment systems, and the like, but I struggle to store much else in them. I did manage to find a wicker basket at a home store that just barely fits the cubby holes, but I had to go find one. Not any random basket of vase or potted plant will fit. Finally, the product can be just a little bit wobbly. You're very obviously expected to put it up against a wall which takes care of the majority of that concern, but if you're reaching behind the unit to grab an electric cord of some sort, don't squeeze your arm and upper body. You will 100% tip it in that case. This seems to be a case of "don't be an idiot and your shelving unit won't crash down on your face", but I wanted to mention the specifics because this TV stand has a weirdly low rating in the sturdiness category that I don't agree with. I would 100% recommend this TV stand, but before you purchase it, you should consider your ability to get it assembled, and give its overall size considerations some thought, because it is a little bit smaller than most people would likely expect.

A nice little tv stand for the bedroom. Well worth the money, my only complaint is the two vertical shelf pieces had the finished part backwards but I just used a black sharpie to color it in and it works fine for us. Would recommend for anyone looking for an inexpensive tv stand.

Looks nice. However my husband and I still have not been able to put it together because one of the pieces it looks like the holes are off, making the entire top piece off center and we can’t get the sides on.

It was somewhat difficult to put together. Difficult as in tedious for the many pieces but once all the pieces and steps were in place, it came together. I wish there was more directional signage on the pieces so you wouldn’t spend time putting them in backwards. I also wish there was a back to it to hide visibility and access to the wires. Overall, it looks great.
