Only problem was my trash can was overflowing with Styrofoam. The chest freezer's engineering designs are quite impressive: The lid is spring hinged: It pops up when you open it. The compressor pump is EXTREMELY quiet. There is a pump operation indicator light that glows when its on, and when I saw it light up, I couldn't hear anything, so I had to put my hand on the chest to feel the vibration. So far so good I’ve only had the freezer for around a month, but it is quiet and seems to keep my food frozen as it should. I cannot comment on its durability since it is so new to me but worth the money to me and delivery saved me having to haul it home from the store.
