The wood (walnut) I ordered looks great. I'll work with it soon. They also included a couple extra pieces for free that they said didn't quite meet their quality standards. There are some minor blemishes, but I believe I'll be able to use it anyway.....and it's really not that bad. If those free ones really don't pass their quality control, I'm confident I'll continue to receive TOP QUALITY product. This was a "test" purchase for me, and I plan to by a larger quantity in the next few days. I'd highly recommend.

I used the Walnut Planks to make a box for my lightsaber. I'm not a wood worker by trade and this was the first project I've tackled. The planks were straight and the correct size, the colors were all matched and I'm very happy with the end result. You can tell the company cares about their product as the planks were packaged very well and they even hand wrote a thank you on the packing slip. If I were to ever need some wood planks I would purchase these or any other type of wood from The Hardwood Edge again. Great product you should buy it if you're considering these.

This is pretty much what I expected from the Hardwood Edge and with proper measurements I think it will be perfect for a small jewelry box for my granddaughters fifth birthday. I’m excited to see how it cuts down to the dimensions I’m going for and I think it is also a nice not too expensive couple pieces to try it on and fingers crossed that I actually get a nice little jewelry box made. I think having so many options for wood is awesome to be able to get it from Amazon and we need sellers like this to be there when we want to buy a specific hardwood online. I’m happy with what I received from them and I recommend them to anyone else that would like to purchase wood precut and ready to work with easily. The walnut is beautiful and it’s probably the first actual walnut I’ve ever wanted to get because of the dimensions and it’s ready to go status. Thank you Hardwood Solutions for having a great solution for me. Wish me luck because I think it’s always good luck when others hope you have success. It’s the whole collective conciseness concept. If we’re hopeful that something goes a certain way. I know that you can’t control some aspects of a natural product but what was sent had a significant amount of sapwood. That being said the grain figure we absolutely beautiful. This worked out though because I was already planning on using a lighter color wood for the inside of my project. Now I can say that it is 100% walnut.

The two boards showed up shrink-wrapped against moisture, perfectly flat with precision-cut edges. As long as it doesn't start warping when exposed to humidity fluctuations, I couldn't be happier with them.
