My 2003 Forester's exhaust pipe was rusted and disconnected due to the age. When the flange was rusted, I kind of repaired it with some other bolts and repair flanges, but this finally gave a way. That made really loud exhaust noise whenever I drive the car, and it was really uncomfortable. The shop quoted me $1000 for the repair. But snce it is an old car, I didn't want to spend that much money. So while I was searching for an affordable one, I decided this Walker brand. The pipe arrived fast, and the pipe's quality was not too bad. I heard some bad stories about welding quality, but mine looked good enough. When compared to the old one, it looked exactly the same. It took me about 2 hours to replace it. Installation itself was easy. Just put this on few rubber hangers, and connect it to the catalytic converter. Removing the old one was more difficult. I had to use impact wrench to remove rusted bolts. After the repair, that loud exhaust noise was almost gone and made the car quiet again. For the price, I am very satisfied. I am hoping this pipe last until I scrap this car.

Fit my girlfriend's 2005 saab 92x, no problem. Which means it would've fit a 2005 Impreza just as well lol.

Fits 2000 Subaru Forester S MT. It's not an inch short as some have mentioned. These folks might have not been using the donut gasket, or this is no longer an issue in 2022. Bend was slightly different than what I pulled off the car, but what I pulled off had been modified at some point. Length was a match, and that's what mattered the most. It was a little tight getting the axle back muffler connected, but it only needed to be pushed a little to get the gasket in.

Just keep in mind this is not a stainless part, so living up in Maine where we heavily use road salt I only expect this to last a few years, I bought a muffler from this company and it lasted 4 years, I consider that worthwhile considering price and ease of install, you will also need gaskets and bolt sets for flanges at either end, you wont be able to save the old.

Welds on the pipe needed some extra attention cause kinda crappy quality... for the price I wouldn't expect much more. Says hardware is included but it came as just the bare pipe.

Perfect, flawless fit up on the 2004 Forester. Welds look acceptable, no leaks I can see. Paired with a new Walker muffler my Forester is very very quiet now.
