This desk looks so awesome! It was extremely easy to put together. I don’t understand why other reviewers took issue with that. This desk is only 38” wide which is perfect for my small library balcony. I can’t wait to refinish the shelves to match! Also, this desk is well made and looks very high end. I’m so happy I got the last one. The new version has the raised desktop…and cost quite a bit more. I sure hope the manufacturer brings back this version. ... show more

Ever see patterns in the grains of wood or the texture of wallpaper? Well, in the case of this desk, I think it’s probably not just my imagination running wild… I built this desk basically upside down, and when I flipped it over, after the effort of Putting it all together, I was astounded to see writing in the grain of the wood. No idea what it says, but that’s definitely a product defect… Aside from that, the desk would look great and seems solid, but REALLY?!?! Won’t be ordering this company’s products again. ... show more
