Just finished putting this thing together. Took about 1.5 hours total including unboxing. I did it by myself with no help. A few thoughts: - Really well packaged - Great, simple instructions - You can use a power drill if you have one with power settings (I lowered mine to the min (2 out of 20) and it did speed things up. - Great finish on the white oak model. Nice distress look will hide scratches. - Plenty of extra parts to spare. - Fire place looks really nice. - Super strong and well designed so no issues with weight * My only ding would be the hinges for the two front doors. They have some play and as a result the doors to catch a bit when opening and closing. I tried my best to get them centered before tightening down the screws. One door ok, the other catches a bit. Not enough for me to lower by a star. This thing looks great for the price. ... show more

Pictures don't do it justice!!! It is very, very sturdy and heavy....that puppy ain't going no where!! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for "easy assembly", because it will take 2 people to put most of it together. The instructions are great and very easy to read and follow. I will put the doors on tomorrow, because I'm tired and it's late. The doors come already assembled with the glass and it's tempered glass at that!!! It's kinda ash Grey in color. I would buy again!! Well worth the money....every dime!!! I have absolutely nothing bad or negative to say about this TV stand. ... show more

I built the console by myself in a few hours. Instructions were really good and the final product is very pretty! There were a few scratches, but they aren't visible at all and/or extentuate the rustic look. You do need a screwdriver for this build. I would buy again from this seller!

We bought the light one (it appears to be a “white stained light wood” print on thick board. That makes it sound awful but it’s actually AMAZING as you see in the photos. Very sturdy, large TV stand WITH a really beautiful fireplace that emits heat and makes the room look so cozy. I totally love it. It was pretty hard to put together. Took my husband a few hours and he’s usually very quick with stuff like this. He said it was very tedious. Maybe worth the money to have someone put it together if you’re not great at stuff like that! ... show more

The product comes as advertised. I was especially pleased with the deep wood tones that some of these build kits lack. It is a sturdy build that is mostly easy to assemble (with the exception of a couple of poorly piloted holes around the door hinge which require a bit more force than expected). Like many similar products, this comes with wood textured stickers to hide screw holes after assembly. While these do a solid job from a distance, it feels obvious and tacky when viewed up close. Luckily (or maybe not) my decision on whether or not to use these stickers was made for me: the adhesive is NOT sufficient and the stickers all came off independently after just a few days. I don't mind the look of this TV stand with visible screw holes, though, so this didn't impact my own enjoyment of the product but it's something buyers should be wary of. Overall, it's a solid product and fits our space perfectly. I am very happy with the purchase. ... show more

I decided to buy this WE Furniture Barn Door TV Stand after I grabbed a new LG OLED 55" TV during Amazon Prime Day. The TV's delivery was only 3 days away, so I had to move fast. I also had to find a TV stand that would fit within the 60" space on the wall between two doors in my "Multi-Media" room where the TV was going to be located. The knocked-down DIY TV stand arrived one day before my TV, and I spent four hours by myself on a really hot July Friday building it. The instructions were detailed and clear, and all parts (including the wooden top, sides, shelves and bottom) were labeled with stickers that were identified in the well-written step-by-step installation manual. I made two mistakes which I quickly corrected, and the stand was completed within four hours. The finished stand is very attractive and sturdy, and has adjustable shelves providing adequate storage for a cable box, DVD players, speakers along with DVDs and other accessories. And while the sales information on Amazon's as well as WE Furniture's web sites indicated that this stand is designed for TV sets up to 50", my 55" flat screen TV fits fine.
