I was a little concerned when I received it as the box was a bit beat up from shipping, but I needn't have worried - this is packaged remarkably well. It's completely surrounded by rigid styrofoam and actually has wood pieces around the border of the box, so props to whoever designed the packaging. Assembly went very well. It's similar to IKEA, but I'd say one step above. All the joints are either screws or cam lock pins, reinforced with dowels which they encourage you to glue (they provide wood glue). Granted this stand shouldn't be getting much abuse, but I'm not worried about it not lasting for many years. ... show more

I wasn’t expecting it to sit so low. I know the measurements are there, I just didn’t expect it to be so low. I also ended up mounting my TV so of course that made it seem shorter. It’s a beautiful finish, I do love the mocha / hot chocolate looking color and style. It’s a bit expensive for the fact that the material falls apart, so I just want to be clear about that. The top lifts off on the left side if I grab it. I didn’t strip it or anything, it’s just not sturdy. It came with wood glue, though, so I guess you could use that. It needs to be grabbed from the bottom, clearly. And one of the legs are broken now? I pushed it across the floor and the leg folded in on itself. So just know the material isn’t built for half-effort moving. ... show more

It’s shorter than I imagined in the pictures, but it’s great quality. The material is sturdy and so far scratch resistant (that turtle planter has ruined a couple of surfaces but not this one). The media could not be loaded. Happy with how cute this is, especially for the price. It’s sturdier than I thought it’d be too. Love the details on the doors.
