Before buying we shopped at the C&B and WE outlet stores. This cabinet is equal to or better for a lot less money. We are really impressed. Strong, sturdy, with clean lines and smooth operation of doors and drawers. We did have to put it together. It took about 3 hours and required only a screw driver. The instructions were very good, but not fool proof. We caught ourselves in mistakes several times. For this reason alone, it is wise to have two people. Overall. We love it. We highly recommend.

Item was very well packaged for shipping and all the parts were easy to identify when opened and compared to the parts list. Two issues that knock this to a 4-star; a couple of the instructions were ambiguous and hard to follow, and secondly, the door hinges did not fit. Apparently the hinges supplied were not the same ones when the product was designed, so mounting holes had to be re-drilled. They were off by 1/4". But once re-drilled the doors fit okay. There's also adequate room to wire electronics (amplifier, cable box, DVD, etc.,) without having to crane your head around to see the plugs and connectors. Although the instructions advise against it, I would recommend using a power drill/screwdriver to make it easier on your wrists. Just be careful. A racheting screwdriver is also very helpful. There are a lot of screws to install to get this together.

The media could not be loaded. The package is HEAVY like really heavy, it took me about two hours to build by myself, everything was fine until I got to the side doors, the hinges are not lined up so the doors don’t open and close smoothly. I had to make holes in order to work. That being said, they don’t seem very sturdy. They slam every time you close them, I thought they would be drawers but only the middle compartment is a drawer. I did had a minor inconvenience since one of the back panels arrived broken but since it’s the back it’s not noticeable I was able to fix it. This might be due to the fact that it was a very heavy package. Overall I love it. It’s the right size, color, and price.

Ikea is not the only place with build it yourself furniture. I was surprised when this puppy came well package, and NOT damaged even with the box a little ripped up on the outside. It went together fairly well in about 2 hours. I accidentally put the bottom on upside down though which was kinda annoying. Those bolts were tough to take out and put back in :P. Luckily they still went together perfect even after that! Not the best instructions ever, but pretty good overall if you can imagine it a bit. Wood looks really awesome! Came with nice stickers and extra stickers to hide all the screw holes and such. Really blends in well. I put a 77" TV on it, and I would not go any bigger than that. 77 was already pretty big..... I was able to fit my PS5, center speaker and my AV receiver on this and they fit good. My only issue that took a while to figure out are the door hinges. They ended up going together, but they are kind a pain to get to be flush and not crooked. That took like 20 minutes in itself and was pretty annoying!

I was looking for something fancy looking, and loved the modern feel this stand gave. I got the 70" stand, and it came in without any damage from shipping, but does look a bit lighter than pictured here (Dark Walnut doesn't look too dark). The biggest issue is the instructions aren't terribly clear. For instance there are multiple boards that are lettered individually, which is cool, but the instructions only tell you to insert rods into the pre-drilled holes on letters "A" and "B" but later on in the installation they're assuming you had already done the same for the matching boards "C" and "D" which for someone that doesn't want to double back on anything takes the instructions very literally. The biggest issue is often the pre-drilled holes don't really line up whatsoever with the drawer covers (the slitted covers are what made the stand so appealing in the first place!) so I had to drill my own holes where I felt appropriate and the slit covers lined up okay, but I am always wondering if its really straight. So, TLDR even taking your time with the assembly of this stand, and looking at other reviewers there's a real chance you can screw this stand up, and have to double back to reassemble it. Which took me about an hour and fifteen to complete, but with how the stand is put together I will have to essentially completely break the stand down to its base parts, and do the entire thing again. If I was sure I could return it without a headache I absolutely would go for a stand from Mopio, or another company. The stars I have given it are for the sturdiness, appeal of the stand, and quick/secure (for me) shipping.

Okay…let’s get real. This sucker is heavy when you’ve got to get the box into your house. On the plus side the manufacturer has all the pieces protected so every piece is scratch and damage free. One person can assemble this by themselves (I did) BUT if you have a second pair of hands around when you are putting the top piece on and lining up all of the pegs into the holes it would be worth it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only frustrating part (as with any cabinet) was putting the doors on it. I got them on but did a lot of cussing in the process. The piece feels very sturdy. Although it is not real wood, it has a very stylish look to it with a natural looking variation in the color and grain of the “wood.”. It is supported underneath by 6 legs. I especially like that there are 2 legs evenly spaced in the center. This will keep the piece from sagging over time. The top can easily accommodate a TV up to 75”.
