Bought this piece for use as a basic media console that could accommodate both a TV and record player. Imagine my delight when I found this unit with what appears to be a dedicated Hi-Fi stack to one side. Unfortunately, that stack has an internal width of only 16 1/2", while the standard width for most modern Hi-Fi equipment is 17". I wish I had known these things earlier, and I hope Walker Edison will publish more detailed dimensions in the future. The unit also arrived with some minor damage, most notably, a scuff through the veneer on top. I'm honestly surprised it arrived in as good a condition as it did, since the cardboard box in which it arrived was basically falling apart. Overall build quality actually exceeded my expectations for a piece of furniture at this price point. The veneer looks convincing and has good texture. The soft-close doors work and feel nice once properly adjusted, and so do the drawers. The feet are welded a bit sloppily, and are not perfectly vertical, but if oriented properly, can at least appear symmetrical. And canted legs are in, right? Ultimately, this piece of furniture totally failed to to what I wanted it to. If you want it do do something else, it may be a wonderful choice.

We bought the gray unit for our game room. Much better quality than expected. Very attractive and very sturdy. Easy, but a little tedious, to put together. Goes together similar to Idea products but with better instructions. Took two of us a little more than two hours total. The open space beneath the turntable will easily hold LP albums; they won't fit in the drawers unless you lay them flat. Albums will fit vertically in the space behind the doors if you don't put the shelf in any of the pre-drilled locations; (you could probably drill four additional holes and raise the shelf if you're a do-it-yourselfer). Our 40" tv fits perfectly above the drawers and doors with no overhang into the turntable space. Holes for cable/wire routing are at the top of the back walls behind the doors and under the turntable.

This thing was easy to assemble, and looks really good in my living room. I love that my record player has a home now. The drawers and cabinets offer great storage. It is a lot more sturdy than I anticipated.

I put it together today and it all came together great... besides the fact that the doors do not line up!!!!!! I noticed I am not the only one who has run into the issue. Mind you, I didn’t purchase the fireplace option. The drawers hit the doors. Then I adjusted and the doors will not close now! I am so disappointed. I have adjusted and adjusted the hinges with no luck. If it weren’t for this major flaw it would be perfect. Now what do I do?

One thing I dislike is the spot for a record player doesn’t fit most turntables that aren’t cheap built in speaker ones. Other than that great.

The product is beautiful, I will start it by saying that. Even for engineered wood it looks great. There was some minor scratches on it but that was likely due to the poor care of the large box by Amazon employees. The box was nearly open by the time it made it to my front door. Instructions were easy to follow. The shelves on the right are more narrow than they appear in pictures. I purchased to house a turntable and it is too wide. I wish there would have been more detailed measurements but I can find another use for the shelf as I love the asymmetrical look. The concerns with this are the customer support. I email the company nearly two weeks ago and have yet to receive a response at all. I expected slightly more, especially considering the cost. The price for Wales Edison products are high considering they are made in China, flat-packed, engineered wood furniture. I loved the design and the finish, which I why I was willing to pay more but because of that I did expect better customer service. Any customer service would have been nice actually!

It’s a beautiful entertainment center, but the darn thing doesn’t accommodate a 65” TV as advertised 😩 after receiving my first delivery damaged, I received the second one and spent a few hours assembling it. Excited to finally set my tv and settle in, my 65” tv doesn’t fit! The leg on the right goes right into the shelf and not on the top like it’s supposed to. So now I have to have my tv sit on a book…very disappointing.
