Ordered this as the sale price was almost 50% off (too tempting to pass for guest room for under $140) and product arrived by Amazon's heavier item delivery truck on a dolly/handcart. It took us around 3 hours to assemble without the doors. (Most fittings are Ikea like) - there are 20 steps. Make sure to carefully assemble the hexagon corners. Else you may see a gap when all the fittings are tightened. Fits perfectly in the corner for my 42 inch tv (a bunch of space is wasted in the actual corner but i keep my spare wires, cables and unused electronics there in a box) Overall build is sturdy for tv and media center use. I like there is no glass and room for a sound bar. However my old school vhs player and dvd/blu ray barely fit in the main console shelf. I figured out some solution. I left one side open and used the mesh door only on one side for better remote operation. I've bought several media centers ranging from $50 to $500 and this one does the job for corner space . .it may even work for non corners but there will be sharp corners (acute) There is a tipover protection brace which I didnt use yet. The hardware came with spares but the dowells could have been sturdier. Refer my top view picture.

Very good product. Easy to assemble even with just one person - it took me about 3 hours to assemble by myself and I'm pretty slow. The steps are never hard, it just takes a while because there's a lot of screwing with both a Philips screwdriver and a (provided) hex wrench. The end result is stylish, very sturdy, and the soft-close adjustable hinges on the doors are a nice touch. Some reviews complain about them giving you stickers to cover up "holes", but those are optional to cover up the cam locks used to tighten everything - I didn't even bother applying the stickers because the cam locks aren't even visible unless you're keen on looking closely into undersides and shady corners on the regular. However, like other reviewers have said, this stand is not suitable for a 55 inch TV, only for at most a 50 inch. One of the manufactured wood panels that came with mine even had a sticker on it that said it's only large enough for 50 inch TVs, not the 55 inches claimed by the description. My TV hasn't arrived yet so I can't show a real-life picture, but I went into an image editor and calculated based off the dimensions of the product, particularly the 48 inches wide from tip to tip. Based on my measurements, I determined that the TV used by the display model in the pictures has a 39 inch screen diagonal and is 35.5 inches wide with bezel. I've attached pictures of (1) my measurements, (2) what a 43 inch screen (not including bezel) would look like, and (3) what a 50 inch screen (not including bezel) would look like. I hope these help someone! Rated only 4 stars for the false advertising in the title. Everything else about this is excellent.

We've had this for 5 months and it fits perfectly for our use. We have a wall mounted tv so this left the top completely open for use which was much needed as our Denon receiver does not fit in the cabinet. We love the screen doors which allows for gaming systems to breath without much additional air restrictions. The hex shape also allows for our stereo sub to fit nicely behind and out of the way. Assembly was very straight forward and sturdy. Would definitely recommend.

It is very difficult finding a corner TV stand of any decent height. Most stand are so low, they might as well be on the floor. We were making due with our old stand by placing a shoe rack on top of the TV stand. Not exactly a sleek look. I was excited to find a stand that met our height needs. Once I opened the box, the excitement ended. Difficult to assemble- I am accustomed to assembling furniture on my own. On the plus side, the pieces were well labeled, and it is fairly clear which side is the front and which is the back. However, it it difficult to assemble, even with an extra set of hands. You have to make some attachments with blind holes at an awkward angle. Still, I was able to assemble with the aid of my little helper (5 year old) in about 2 hrs. Not Sturdy - Not that I expect solid wood at the price point, I do expect the piece to support the weight of the TV, and to move across flooring with no issue. While there are long screws at attach the legs to the base of the stand, it looked as if the legs wanted to buckle under the weight of the stand, before I even put the TV on it. I had to reinforce the legs to feel comfortable enough to put the TV on the stand. Stylish - The one perk is that this stand is not bulky and has a modernized look. It looks great in the corner and has enough room for the sound bar, cable receiver, cable box and router. Overall - I have to give this Two Stars. I *want* to like it, but it is not very sturdy. I think at $284, you should be able to expect better quality. I wouldn't recommend it for someone who isn't handy or can't make a repair on the fly...as you might end up needing to do.

While this is a beautiful unit and I wish it would work, the website states it is suitable for TVs up to 55". I do not recommend using this unit for a 55" TV. I think up to 48" would be fine, but due to the design of the item a 55" TV could easily fall off this stand. The triangle shaped ends are much more sharp then they are presented online and the area for TV legs on the end is very small. I would only recommend this TV stand if your TV has a center stand and not legs on the end of your TV. They need to be more clear about the way TVs with center vs. end legs will look on this stand. I wish this was available with a slanted back to slide into the corner but a straight front to better support TVs with legs on the end. I had to return the item because even though the measurements online said it worked - in reality it BARELY works and it is not worth risking your $1000+ TV fall off this stand because the leg placement does not work with the top design.

I love the rustic appearance and that it fits into a corner. It was a bit confusing to put together and two people make this much easier. There is lots of storage and the open shelf is great for a cable box. We like the height of this stand but it is taller than most out there.
