Very Happy!
Color: Black Cut-out
Ok first thing—assembly is not for the faint of heart! It took me over 6 hours! Mind you, it’s not hard—the directions are great. It’s just extremely time consuming! I turned on my favorite podcast and got to work! The end result was AWESOME! I love the contemporary style, and it blends in to my bedroom decor perfectly. The drawers roll on wheels which make it easy to open and close and this dresser made of real wood—not cheap MDF or particle board like most in this price point! Very pleased with my purchase!

Not for the faint of heart
Color: Natural Pine Groove
This is no joke to put together. I did this 100 by myself, it took me about 3 weeks in between life, probably a full 10-12 hours. It is tedious and exhausting, I got blisters on my thumbs from screwing the hundreds of screws- and eventually ended up wrapping my thumbs with bandages and tape for a barrier (wish I did this in the beginning) BUT after completing the mission, I really love the look. The wood (pine) is gorgeous, wish the drawer bottoms were more sturdy, but in whole am happy with my purchase. Would I do it again, probably not. Side note- the matching dresser was a cinch to put together.

Cheap manufacturing
Color: Riviera Cut-out
I wanted to love this item, & I am super disappointed by the cheap manufacturing. I live on an island so it’s not even possible to return, but I have one drawer that will not match the rest because it was assembled backwards. Meaning, the holes & inner lining of the drawer were created on the part that should face out, so now, the part that faces out is supposed to be the inside of the drawer. Looks ugly. Doesn’t match. Really disappointed. ** update ** I then submitted a claim to Walker Edison & they sent me a new drawer face. Except, they sent it in the wrong color 😑 so then I had to wait another month for them to send the right color. That one arrived, also damaged. … at this point, it’s been 4 months trying to get this right, so I’m just going to put the scratched one they sent on & call it a day…. Overall, it’s cheap, the customer service is responsive, but they don’t seem to pay attention to detail & when they finally do, they will send you another damaged piece.

Just use the drill
Color: Walnut Groove
I was weary about buying and putting together this dresser after reading the reviews. I am a 24 yr old woman, so I was nervous about anything being wrong with the dresser and having to deal with the returns process. But I took the chance while it was on sale... and I got very lucky! :) My box came with every single piece included (some extra screws and nails, too) and not one defect. I put it together entirely by myself in about 5 hours (over a 3 day span). The hardest part was dragging the box into my room, but once I got it in the doorway I used my welcome mat to slide it down the hall. What I did differently to make my life easier: 1. I used a drill. I know the instructions say not to, but if you’re mindful of the force you’re exerting, it’s not a big deal. I made more defects in the wood with my hammer than I did the drill. 2. I double checked the instructions CONSTANTLY. Sometimes I would catch that I put dowels where I didn’t need to, or I missed a screw or two entirely, so be mindful of the instructions and pay close attention to which parts/screws they mention you will need with each step. 3. Adjust the dowels that keep the drawers on their guide tracks to your preferences. I found that I put a few in too tightly to begin with, which caused the drawers to scrape when opened. Once I adjusted, they started sliding smoothly. No wood oil required. The Cons: The wood is quite soft. I used a very thick sock over my hammer, which helped a bit. Luckily the only parts I damaged are where no one will ever see them. Also, the drawers are a fantastic size, but they do not open all the way. They have a width of about 11 inches, but only open to 7 1/2 inches. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but it’s something to note. Overall I have no regrets with my purchase whatsoever. This dresser is beautiful! I’ve already received so many compliments on it and adore it so much!! And it did not cause any headaches like most reviews mentioned. The first step and most vital part is to receive all the pieces you need with no defects, so if you get lucky like I did, you will have a fine time :)
