I love this unit. It has plenty of storage and looks great. When I saw the box I was not happy. It arrived opened and had obvious damage. Fear not even with all that damage, not one piece was damaged and that includes glass doors. It was like they packaged it with the thought of the box arriving damaged and had extra wood pieces to protect the items which worked and took the brunt of the damaged. Let me preface this by saying I used to work for a furniture company and have assembled many pieces of furniture in the past. That being said... the instructions were very easy to follow and the construction itself is very solid and sturdy, it looks fantastic. Took me roughly 90 minutes to assemble but that was only because I purposely did it slowly and didn't want to skip ahead as I normally would have. The fireplace looks great, gives out a decent amount of heat, but isn't something I'd use as a main source of heat, unless its in a smaller room. My living room that it is in is roughly 11 ft wide by 15 ft long and the tv stand is about 6 ft from where my main seating area is located. I did a lot of looking around for a fireplace tv stand before purchasing this one, my main thing was I needed one with a shelf that could fit my larger AV receiver. This piece is everything I had hoped it to be and couldn't go wrong with the price. Note: It's heavy, especially while still in the box, odds are whomever delivers it, will have difficulty leaving it where you want them to, so keep an eye out when the delivery is on the way and have someone help you move it near where you plan on assembling it. I was able to slide it by myself with the assistance of some furniture sliders under each corner. ... show more
