I gotta say, this stand is SLICK. Everything is clearly labeled and packaged. Lots of hardware but individual bags for subassembly's makes it super easy to sort. Literally a screwdriver and the included allen wrench is all you need. As to the appearance and quality of materials. Yes, parts are flake board but not many. Solid feel to all parts and the appearance is AWESOME. I actually build museum exhibits for a living. I just didn't want to take the time to design and build my own. I could not do this stand at this cost. Just couldn't. Overall, I could not be happier with this unit. I've seen pure junk sell at higher prices. Is it gonna hold up as well as solid wood? Obviously not. But I could not recommend this stand enough. Affordable and beautiful while being simple to assemble. Awesome. ... show more

Assembly was straightforward and well-explained in the manual. Much higher quality than expected — in particular, the back is not paperboard, but is actually veneered wood product. Machining of pre-drilled holes for screws, etc. was extremely precise. The unit went together perfectly. I particularly love the cabinet-grade, soft-close hinges on the doors. Honestly, I was a little skeptical about the quality. Obviously, it's not high-end, but it definitely is higher quality than most just because of the hardware. I mostly put it together myself. The doors are a little tricky. They were a little hard to line up and I needed to get someone to help. Read those instructions! They are adjustable. This truly is a very nice looking TV stand. It was very easy to put together. Directions were accurate, and all pieces shipped without any damage. It is sturdy and holds our 64 inch tv with no problems. My two cons would be the fact that this piece of furniture is not made of wood. It has what I would call a “wood look”. The next con would be the doors. Even with adjusting they are still uneven. Both of these cons are easily over looked. For the price it is still a great piece! ... show more

Love this tv stand! Very sturdy and easy to build. Would go faster with 2 people (obviously) but very doable solo. All parts were clearly labeled and the instructions were very easy to follow. They give you extra parts so you’re all set to go! 10/10 recommend!

When I went to assemble this item, it had a manufacturing defect. The center board, part 4, has the holes drilled too far away from the edge, therefore the cam lock nut and screw don't meet properly and the very cheap die cast cam locks with a very thin "arm" break when trying to assemble. This rendered the product unbuildable, and useless. When trying to contact the manufacturer an hour past their stated opening time, I got a few minute wait, then a hang up saying "call back later". Fortunately Amazon resolved the issue equitably for me, but I would be hesitate to buy this item. It is extremely heavy, and nearly impossible to repack if you need to return it, and requires glue, which if you're beyond that step (it's like step 1) means it can't be disassembled properly. I've included a picture, of the defective parts, and as a reference, the two side boards have holes measured closer to the edge by about 1/8", and they assembled perfectly fine with exactly the same cam nuts and screws of the same height, which is why I know it's off, in addition to the screws for the cam lock nuts "barely showing" in the hole. This console table is gorgeous and generally easy to put together. At first the doors didn’t seem to line up properly, but AFTER I RE-READ THE 1ST PAGE OF INSTRUCTIONS, I realized it was my error and you can adjust the door hardware early to fix the issue. It took about 3 hours with two people, but well worth it in the end. Just make sure to read the first page regarding how to adjust the door hardware! ... show more

I just put this together. It took me over two hours to do by myself. It was so easy to put together, all the hardware was present and they even sent spare hardware. The doors are not as brown as they appear in the picture, it’s more muted which I’m totally happy with. This piece is great, solid piece of furniture and really easy to put together.
