I really like this dresser. It took me 2.5 hours to build, but I am fairly experienced in building Ikea style furniture (I've been a personal handyman for my family and friends). It's real wood and the caramel color is really beautiful and compliments my mid-century style apartment. I have a few warnings and build tips for people looking for help! First is that the wood is fairly soft, so make sure you don't accidentally drop your drill while building, as it could leave a small dent (I did this a few times on the inside of the dresser while screwing it together). Second is you ABSOLUTELY need a drill. I don't see how someone could only use a screwdriver to put this together (maybe that's why it's taken some people 8 hours to build). All of the parts that use screws (pretty much all of them) don't have pre-drilled holes so using a screwdriver would be a lot more work. I know the instructions say not to use power tools, but as long as you keep the drill on a lower setting I had no issues. Just be careful not to go too fast and splinter the wood. Other than that it's a great dresser! The drawers sometimes are a little hard to pull out but I'm sure they will loosen over time. ... show more

It’s a solid wood dresser on the cheap, so don’t expect miracles. The drawer pulls are wood & not metal sliders, so they’re a little stiff. It’s a good size, color is a nice rich dark brown, and drawers are a decent size. NOTE: Assembly instructions were AWFUL & it took about 2 hours to do w/ an electric screwdriver. If you buy this, please buy a $20 electric screwdriver as well. ... show more

I’m always hesitant to buy furniture from Amazon or Wayfair because you never really know what you are going to get, however, I am really happy with the price and the dressers overall! There was one issue, I got 4 right side feet for the dresser instead of 2 right and 2 left but you can’t even see it and it didn’t really affect the build so I just figured it wasn’t worth a hassle. I bought one 3 drawer and 1 6 drawer and each took me about 3-4 hours with a glass of wine in my hand. The instructions were mostly clear and I didn’t have any other issues. The dressers are incredibly sturdy but the wood itself is somewhat fragile and if you use a drill you will more than likely mess up the wood. I used a phillips screwdriver, my own Allen wrench, and a hammer; that’s it, so you can expect a bit of work but I didn’t mind, especially for the price! You do need to be very careful with the face of the drawers or you might end up with a few little dings. Overall I absolutely love the look of the dressers, they work great for us, and we’re exactly what I was looking for! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. As of rite now I'm not so happy. I took everything out after receiving it early today from delivery and no parts! I have the assembly instructions but missing everything I need to actually put it together. I just moved in and have too much stuff to put together and was trying to do something each day as it comes so I won't burnout and this....I contacted the manufacturer and they are saying 7 to 10 days before I even get a response and one of the boards came broke....too tired to get passed but very irritated. Update: After a week of no contact, I was able to locate the customer service number and they FedEx me the assembly and broken board. But when I went to start assembling the dresser, I started noticing more and more missing pieces and as I began to count to contact for my missing parts, I noticed a note on the inside of the box. You guys seriously sent me someone else's return! This is wasting so much of my time. This note on the inside of the box is clearly from a customer advising of a return. This is crazy. I honestly just really want my money back. I don't even want to waste anymore of my time dealing with this. It's seriously over 10 missing boards and nothing to stand this thing up. Why would you resend a return without checking to make sure everything was returned. Final Update: Just don't do it. Worst purchase ever. Almost 2 months in and the dresser is not worth it. It's super flimsy. The wood slates to slide the drawers in and out are warped and does not slide easily and already cracked handle piece just trying to hold it to get it to come in and out. Just horrible product. They lady Rachel at customer service was really nice and really did try. I do see they sent me a TV stand to try and solve the issue but I'm okay. I really wanted the dresser because they had the matching nightstands but I'm completely okay. This is going in the guest room where it won't be used. Wasted money and still have to end up buying a dresser after all of this. Horrible. Will try to sand the one I can't get in to make it fit but you still can't even open the drawers...just a waste. ... show more
