  • Amazing
Color: Dark Walnut Size: 40 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
This is one of those things you don't expect to be so great, but it is. I've bought a lot of small pieces of furniture off of Amazon over the years, and they're largely all poorly designed. I gambled and bought this knowing that I would be throwing my money away if it too was not well made. This shelf is something you'd expect to find in a furniture store for 3 times the price listed here. The only mistake I made was buying one too small, so I bought a second one to make up the different. ... show more

  • Nice heavy duty shelf!
Color: Barnwood Size: 40 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
We purchased a large tv to mount over our fireplace and removed the smaller tv that was previously in our built-in entertainment center. I needed something freestanding to be able to utilize that empty space. This little shelf fits perfectly. I can now put books, CDs and DVDs in that space. The shelf is not flimsy or wobbly - it is very sturdy! It is easy to assemble and it took me only about 30 minutes. ... show more

  • Nice looking bookcase
Color: Grey and Black Size: 60 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
This is a very nice looking bookcase (I got the grey & black). I bought it for my office and I'm very happy with my purchase. It was easy to assemble, which I was able to do by myself in less than an hour. There are nuts secured in each of the shelves so you are not trying to attach into drilled holes, which also makes the shelves super sturdy and adds to the quality. The only thing I would change is to make the space between each shelf (10 1/2") a bit higher, so you could fit taller books. ... show more

  • Fantastic shelf
Color: Driftwood Size: 60 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
I needed something that was basic but matched my office desk as close as possible and this is it! It’s a little lighter but close enough for me. Sturdy and I think easy to assemble. Can’t say for sure because I got one of office guys to assemble. :) I might be buying a second one because I love it so much. ... show more

  • USPS may NOT complete delivery!
Color: Grey Size: 61 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
This is a great set of shelves for storage of craft materials. It is deep enough to hold storage bins and narrow enough to fit in a small space. This is the second one I have bought. Assembly is straight-forward and it is nice looking. It is also very sturdy. However, Amazon should not use the USPS to finish delivery of this item, as the USPS stated that the item was "oversized" and they would not deliver it. I had to drive to the Post Office and pick it up. Since it is 62" long and weighs almost 40 pounds, not everyone is going to be able to do that. I don't consider this free Prime shipping! ... show more

  • Solid design; easy to assemble
Color: Barnwood Size: 60 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
I put this together in about 20 minutes. Well packaged, easy instructions, looks great, very solid. I’d definitely buy again. I did get it on Prime Day, so it was almost half off, which was a great price. Not sure if it’s worth the full retail price.

  • Inconsistent production and obvious design concerns
Color: Dark Walnut Size: 40 Inch Pattern Name: Shelf
After a week of trying to find something that does what I wanted (dimensions, design, etc), I decided on a few of these to create a surround style shelving in a new office. My desk is ~30" tall and (with carpeting in consideration) these fit the need very well. I got two this (first) time and had completely different experiences during assembly. The first one appeared to be a prime specimen visually and structurally (to a point). Everything appeared to be symmetric and it generally assembled with ease. I did managed to accidentally over tighten a bolt and quickly found out just how weak the structural design is. Once assembled it's surely sturdy and shouldn't wiggle on a flat surface, but it was Real easy to accidentally tighten to the point that it sheared through the metal. I didn't measure (don't have the tool), but I'd bet this is something like 5-10 mm thick. Now I did manage to continue threading the bolt until it secured to the inner side, but there's a screw head sized hole on the one end where it broke clean through. It didn't even creak when it broke, so I had no idea as I generally don't have the hand strength to normally break these things. The second one was another story. Assembly was very tricky as unlike the first one, I had to keep ALL of the bolts slightly loose so that the boards could be used to level the whole thing. Then I could tighten things. I tried just doing the frame first like on the first unit, but it was horribly wobbly. Once I realized I needed to loosen everything, I did and managed to smash the crap out of a finger as the first board swung out of place because the amount I needed to loosen wasn't sufficient to keep the board supported like on the first unit. Looked great after built and put into place though! I still have another one to purchase and some other pieces from this collection as well. just waiting on the budget. ----------------------------------- Building tips (Do in this order): ----------------------------------- 1) Do it on a flat surface and move Around the assembly. Don't rotate it or you'll risk it not being square; 2) Hand tighten the bolts until they're flush and apply a little more when assembling the frame so that nothing pivots freely, but not enough that it's rigid; 3) Carefully (watch for swinging boards!) hand tighten the top and bottom boards in place starting with the middle bolts, but leave it loose enough to allow you to square it up later; 4) Do the same with the center board. Note: this board has nothing to be squared with, so tighten it last of the three; 5) On a flat surface, use your fingers to make sure the beams are flush on the ends as you square up the frame. Fully tighten the frame Only (not the boards yet) by hand and then slowly tighten using the tool until it feels like you'll need both hands (too easy to over-tighten!); 6) Fully tighten the bottom board, then the top by doing the following. Apply pressure from both sides and tighten the middle bolts fully. I grabbed the opposite side of the frame and pulled against myself while tightening with my other hand. Now tighten the corners. This way you don't end up with the board more on one side or corner; 7) Repeat the above for the top board; 8) Repeat for the middle board, but keep track of how side-2-side the board wants to slide as there's no framing on the ends for this to align to; 9) Double check all of your bolts; ... show more
