  • It’s perfect!

Exactly what we needed!

  • Missing parts; connections not strong
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
After getting it almost all set up, it turns out I am missing a number 6 pole. :( Some of the poles were out of round and hard to push into the connections. The connections weren't necessarily tight except for those out of round ones, and they would slip out easily. The plastic connectors in the book were numbered differently in the add in sheet, as the main ones can be used in multiple orientations, which was a little confusing. We did get what we could get set up in just over an hour, including sorting parts for easy identification. It'll be great once I get a replacement part for the number 6 pole. ... show more

  • So easy to put together, very sturdy when anchored!
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
This greenhouse is really impressive. I was a little worried it would have issues with the wind in our area, but I have found this to withstand pretty high winds so far. It is anchored properly of course, both to the ground but also a bit of extra weight using sandbags, which I highly recommend if you want to invest in one of these small greenhouses. It’s nice and simple to assemble, it has a very basic frame and the strong plastic cover just slides right on, nice and easy. I have put it inside my fenced garden to help protect my seedlings later this spring, as we do have deer here and I am quite sure this could not withstand a curious buck. I am growing some fall greens and there will be some spring starts in here around March. I have had this installed and in use for a couple of months and so far, I really like it. The shelves are plenty sturdy enough to hold seedling trays but I wouldn’t want to put a whole bunch of 2 gallons pots on them, or anything like that. This is exactly what you’d want if you’re trying to get ahead on some of your seedlings in their early growth, or to add some extra heat to young tomato and pepper plants. I really love it, and have and will continue to recommend it to others. ... show more

  • Easy to get going
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
I first started using a greenhouse to prevent weeds and vandalism, but then I decided to grow coffee plants. It's way too cold here so I like that the enclosed space lets me run a heater to warm things up now that it's legitimately winter and there's snow coming down. This is very well thought out, it's very tough and durable. It was a cinch to assemble and it's more stable than I thought it'd be. ... show more

  • Posts with fiberglass joints
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
Came as expected. Push fit metal poles into fiberglass joints. Some of the extra multiple joints get finicky, best with an extra person or two, and a light rubber mallet to tap a pole into the junction backed by a section of 2x4 or something. We greased the joints with a little silicone adhesive. Helps in, hopefully prevents out? A theory. Lots of wind possible in our section of Texas. I also anchored the guy lines into concrete papers I buried. It's more stable than I expected, but still not a complete solution, especially in my area. It'll last a year or two, but after that much Texas sun and a Hail or two... I expect to need to update here what the failure is and when. Happy enough, and we have little seedlings going for the grow year. Happy with with a little temporary greenhouse. ... show more

  • Love this
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
This is my 2nd walk-in greenhouse and I love both of them. The 1st is still standing, I just needed a 2nd for more plants. I love these for starting and hardening off seedlings and starts. For early-spring/late-winter greens, I just start the seeds in trays and leave them in the greenhouse, with the door and widows zipped to trap a little heat, but those plants don't care for a lot of warmth. For everything else, I bring in my heatmats, my clamping plant-lights, and outdoor extension cord, and really high-quality surge protectors. These structures are sturdy if you use the tie-downs or place them near a solid structure like a house, garage, or shed. Mine are on the west side of my garage, on my deck, so I can't use tie-downs. They are easy to assemble and disassemble, but if you take them apart and put them together too much, the plastic joins do have a habit of warping and breaking. The poles can rust when/if water gets trapped around the joins, which it will, so if you pull the poles out, you risk exposing the rust and degrading the poles. I suppose you could try and tape off the joins, making them sturdier, more durable to the elements. That's your call. The shelves are wire, with decent strength, but I suggest using trays to put your plants in/on to distribute weight better. I added chicken wire and hardware cloth across the bars and under the shelves to add strength. I also added chicken wire and hardware cloth to the roof suspension to keep the cover from drooping and pooling with all that PNW rainwater. The zippers for the main door are crappy, no being nice about that, so be gentle with them. The tie-offs to hold the rolled up door are not attached very well. I have to use a safety pin to keep the roll up. The velcro for the window vents is crappy, too. If you pull the window vents up once, good luck getting the vents to resecure. The cover is SLIGHTLY water permeable, and definitely air permeable. It does not retain as much heat as you'd think, so using it as an over-wintering shelter does still require you wrap and frost proof any plants that are cold-tender. I largely put my plants that don't enjoy the 6-9 months of rain between the autumn equinox and summer solstice in these greenhouses, but still wrap them with frost blanket since they are cold-tender plants. Overall, these are great for any gardener needing a sheltered place for starts or tender plants and need a less-than-permanent structure. ... show more

  • Small greenhouse
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
Already has a tear in cloth near zipper. One of the connector pipes cracked during set up. It is small. Afraid wind will take it even if anchored.

  • GrowMate Walk in Greenhouse with Steel-Frame
Style: Walk-In Greenhouse (56"x56”x77“)
I have several of these greenhouses already throughout the inside of my home. They are nice and this one is as well. We have a glass greenhouse project we are working to install outside, but these all stay inside. I don't feel confident in keeping these outside. But, they do great when inside and protected from the weather and wind. Assembly isn't too difficult. ... show more
