**update 2026** Okay I've just upgraded this mount so let me update my review. I am keeping 5 stars because for an entry level budget mount it did its job. Here's why I changed: if your desk is not solid wood, the base of the mount is too narrow and will start to sink in. Also, after a few years one of the arm started to sag. I upgraded for a mount double this price so not outrageous but the base is wider and the arms are sturdier. I am still happy I purchased that one because for my budget it did the job so these years and it's better than not having it. Still recommend if your budget is low and you need to save desk space, it's a great starter. If you can wait and save twice this, I suggest you do and skip to the better ones though. **original review 2020** Been using this mount for about 3 months, time to review: It is an absolute game changer! Cheap, easy to assemble and install, feels sturdy. At first my wife was skeptical because she thought it would be a gimmick but it frees up so much space, it brings both monitors to the same eye-level height, the mouse cable never gets stuck under the laptop anymore, and it holds the cables in place so that when she has to run with the laptop they don't fall behind the desk anymore (see picture). The only downfall of this product is that there is no instant up/down adjustment on the arms. Otherwise this mount is outstanding. It is easy to put together, the only items you'll want that aren't in the box are a screwdriver and a wrench. It went up in just a couple of minutes, and it's sturdy and very well made. I like that I can put it flush to a wall because it does not need any room behind it. This is beyond amazing for the inexpensive cost. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Also adding to the awesomeness is an array of additional arms and accessories for this you can find from Wali to make your setup perfect for you, all at great prices. I've got my office setup complete with three arms and two laptop trays and the whole thing cost less than a single arm I purchased from Amazon Basics. Handy thought regarding the laptop trays is that they're a nice size, and with the catch at the bottom, I've found I like to use it as a literature tray. I drop a book on there and it holds it at a nice angle to read from when transferring or referencing data. The trays do bounce some when typing, but much less than any other type of arm/tray system I've ever used. Highly recommended!

Overall I love this product and believe that it was well worth the price. It wasn’t too hard to assemble, in fact I quite enjoyed setting it up (just follow the instructions and be aware that there are different parts for different options). You can either use the C clamp or if your table has a hole in it you can mount the post through that. I almost had an issue with mounting mine as you can see in the picture because the white pole that my table is resting on was in the way, but I was able to move it to the corner for better stability. Another issue that was not ideal but still workable was that my monitor had bumps where the screws were supposed to attach to the mounting plate, so that it was not flush , but that didn’t have much impact. It seems pretty solid overall and I appreciate the options for cable management. I’ve had it for about 2 months now and it is getting a bit loose at the joint for the laptop stand but I believe it can be adjusted. However the biggest win for me and my main reason for purchasing it was the space it afforded me on my desk. You can see from the picture that I have about 5-6 inches of clearance, and you can adjust the height when setting it up. The arms also pivot pretty far so I can turn my laptop around and work on it while sitting on my bed. So far, I definitely recommend this purchase!

Awesome design and quality and a fraction of the price! Very heavy duty, came with well crafted instructions. All screws, bolts, small parts, and tools (except Philips screw driver) were included - all laid out and labeled. Easy to get at and easy NOT to loose! Included all parts to allow for multiple installation options, including through a grommet hole on a solid surface without edges. Overall fit, finish and functionality exceeded my expectations and was priced at less than half of what far lesser options are selling for!! I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the ergonomics and space utilization of their work area. I attached mine to an older model Ergotron workstation cart so it is being used in both stand-up & sit down and it does so wonderfully! Although I have a separate keyboard tray with a full-size keyboard, the laptop holder is very sturdy and can easily be used regularly without it bouncing around as you type or rest your arms as you mouse around. The pole comes with an extension should you need it, depending on the size of your monitor or if being used as a stand-up station on a fixed height desk or table. Extremely well made! The laptop shelf would also function very well as an adjustable swing out surface for holding books, binders, or other references materials within easy sight but off the work surface. Or to hold a small light table, or even as a writing or drawing platform (with appropriate surface pad added) as it is completely tilt adjustable - unlike other products that do not tilt. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this one!
