I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality of this item, even the packaging is high-end. When you purchase an item, the initial interaction you have is during the unpacking process. This is when your first impression is formed. A seller’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness are evident in the quality of the packaging. The package is a box with product details printed on it, and it includes foam on the corners to prevent damage during transit. This attention to detail is rare and shows that the company values their design. Everything arrived without a scratch. The package also includes two different types of mounting anchors for the wall and work instructions. The first thing you notice when you take the item out is how heavy it is. One assembly weighs 1.9 pounds, and if you add a speaker, you’ll need to be sure your drywall can support the weight. I would recommend using at least one stud during installation. I’m not sure if the wood is real or laminated. The surface has a texture that makes it appear quite realistic, if not real. I did notice edge banding, as the seams were visible on the back. The brace used to mount the product on the wall is incredibly heavy-duty. Your wall is likely to give out before the bracket. For the price, this product is incredibly high quality. I highly recommend it.

Great coloring and excellent quality. I could not find any manufacturing defects at all. The panels bolt quickly and easily to the brackets, and it was a very nice surprise to see this kit actually includes good anchors, unlike the last few shelf kits I have purchase. One mounted they are very stable and highly functional for holding speakers, or any other items that will fit on their surface. At the time I placed the order the pair of shelves was about twenty five dollars. This is a fair price when compared to what you can get a local home decor stores.

Well as you can see from my photos, the color of the shelves is 110% inaccurate to the blonde color wood advertised in the listing's photos. So at the moment, these shelves are completely useless to me as I really needed the beautiful light grain wood shown in the listing's photos. I am planning on reorganizing my garage soon and maybe I can use the shelves in there. The shelves are very heavy for their size so I do believe they would easily hold the 55 pounds as advertised as long as they were attached on a beam. The hardware to the shelves is insanely sturdy and also heavy. In the darker wood, the shelves have a heavy vibe to them, which goes along with the construction of them too. If I needed dark brown shelves to hold something heavy, I'd be ecstatic with these as they seem like nice heavy duty quality shelves and brackets.

When I received this shelf set, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of design and materials. The shelves themselves are really nice woodgrain. But if you look deeper, you'll see that thought went into every aspect of the design of these shelves specifically for sound systems. The brackets are extra heavy metal and coated with durable material. They attach to the wood with pre installed threaded inserts. But the thing that sets these apart, is the addition of rubber insulation washers between the wood and metal. Then in addition to that , you also get slip resistant pads for the speakers to sit on. This all helps to reduce vibration transfer to the wall for more pure sound. They provide all the different types of mounting hardware you would ever need. The instructions are clearance well written. And the price of the shelves is pretty good for the quality of the item you receive.

Its not just the wood panels that are highly sturdy here, but the metal brackets that mount to the wall. They feel sturdy enough to survive an earthquake and the matte black finish helps the mounts blend in to the background, giving the illusion of floating speakers. I like the shape of the wooden platforms which are just long enough for standard stereo speakers with rounded corners and a good 1/2" wall offset to allow for running wires. Altogether these are excellent speaker shelves that are strong and nice to look at.
