    • Little more than a thick bag
This is a firm case but it’s thin. So it maintains its shape but it is not at all crush resistant. Of the hard shell cases that I own (for headphones, electronics, etc.) this one is the thinnest. I don’t think you should expect this to protect your camera gear from anything beyond dirt and MAYBE some water droplets. The size is OK for a little Panasonic or Sony Camcorder type camera. My old Panasonic video camera is 4.5” x 2.5” x 2” and it fits just fine. There isn’t room for much more, but I was able to also fit 2 spare batteries, a spare SD card, and a small collapsible tripod, a 2-battery charger, the charging cable, and a small AC adapter (from an iPhone). It took quite a bit of Tetris to fit all that in there! The only thing I was not able to fit in the case was the camera’s owner’s manual. Also, this case is just an open box with a mesh pocket on one side. There are no foam inserts to protect your camera gear and keep things from sliding around; although, ain’t nuttin sliding around in my case because it’s completely packed! So lack of protection and lack of secure holding of items pushed me to take a star away. ... show more

Perfect for what I needed. I added a cage to my mirrorless camera and needed a case to transport the body when I went overseas so I didnt have to carry my camera bag and laptop bag. Even though this is not for a Sony camera it works great for my needs. Case is sturdy and feel confident it will protect my camera. ... show more
