SERIOUS ISSUE WITH CONSISTENCY OF MATERIAL!!! I ordered several of these a few years ago and they were Amazing! Read my original review below for more. I just ordered three more for gifts and I'm so glad I checked them out before sending them out as gifts! The quality of material has gone down so much i hardly believe they are from the same company. The old one is MUCH heavier, the fabric was thick and plush, almost like a fur rug. This new material is more like a thin airplane blanket with a bit of plush. Everything about it feels cheap compared to the old ones. I'm really disappointed. I thought I had found the perfect winter loungewear and gifts for everyone but now I have to start seeking something else. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My house is huge, older, and not very well insulated. In the winter it gets cold enough to freeze a gallon of water in the dog bowl outside all the way through some nights. We like to build fires and mostly hang out in our bedrooms or the living room so it's a terrible waste of energy and money to heat the whole house just for an occasional stroll down the hallway. We often wear slippers and sweaters or robes, but there are also times we just roam around like hobos with quilts or blankets draped around us and that's far from convenient, especially if you are trying to do anything with your hands! Enter this amazing Hoody Blanket from Waitu. OMG is it soft! And PLUSH! It feels like some of my favorite thick and plush furry throw blankets. You know the material that feels like rabbit fur! It's amazing. It's also way thicker than a lot of the nice quality throws. The size is ENORMOUS all the way around. The hood stays in place perfectly but doesn't get in the way. The size is so roomy there is no feeling of being wrapped in a blanket, but it keeps all the heat in-- so much in fact that I had to remove it after a short time, but the temp was not that low so I am really looking forward to trying it out in the coldest winter nights! I can see this getting a LOT of use around the campsite as well as going to see fireworks or outdoor movies and other picnic sort of events that run into the night. It is so comfortable I already ordered 4 more as gifts for my family and best friend because I know mine will be stolen if I don't! I just received it so if anything goes wrong (stitches falling apart or anything I can't tell at first try) I will update this review. For reference I am 5foot 3inches and weigh 235 pounds and this is HUGE on me. It also almost reaches my feet, but the sleeves are not too long. It's fantastic. Update: I have washed this a couple of times and it's just as soft and snuggly as it was out of the package. Great quality. I received the other hooded blankets and one of them had a small issue with the stitching on the pocket. Customer support was extremely responsive and sent me a replacement very quickly. This actually managed beat expectations! It’s super soft and warm and the elasticated cuff isn’t to tight and it’s about a midi length on me and I’m 5’5 and 285 and it’s still about 3 or so more sizes bigger so I have the perfect thing to ware on days where clothes are feeling weird to me (I’m autistic) my husband got it for me during Black Friday but couldn’t wait until Christmas to give it to me and I’m happy because I love it! Even though he got it for a very good deal I now feel like it would definitely be worth the full price :) ... show more

Okay I may be being a bit dramatic with the headline but this wearable blanket is SO soft. I love that the arm cuffs are elasticize so the sleeves aren't getting in the way. I can sit at my desk typing, comfortably warm and cozy. The velour is a nice thickness, the seams look good, and did I mention how soft it is? I also find it affordable in comparison. I'll update if there's issues after a wash or two but, for now, this is a five star purchase. Oh and it showed up really fast!
