Bought the royal blue blanket sweater for myself, then bought the rich red colored one, and the gray one for family members. It's a nice, thick, veloured texture. At 5'6 it comes to a few inches above my ankles. The front has a great big pocket which fit my phone, kindle, and my cat. The hood is comfortable, although a larger framed person might find it somewhat constricting because if the garment isn't aligned properly on your shoulders, the neck hole feels tights. When the weather turns cold, I like to turn off the heater and sleep wrapped up in garment. Holds up well when washed, although multiple washings will knit the texture unless you have a fabric brush.
