Nice batteries. Run time is what you'd expect out of a 9amp hr battery. Two of these run my 16" saw for about 4 hrs of firewood cutting and splitting. I ran out of grass before my trimmer shut off so honestly idk how long it runs a dewalt weed trimmer. I put one of these in a small framing circular saw and cut all day without even thinking about batteries. It's definitely nice to have a cheaper alternative to the over priced dewalt batteries. These 9 amp hr batteries I bought were my second purchase from waitley. I also bought a big pack of ghee 6 amp hour batteries. They worked well enough so I bought these for bigger projects. I let my buddy do some work on his crawl space with my 6 amp hr batteries. They came back covered in mud and scratches but they work like new.     • After a few months of use, so far so good and the value is great.
I have no doubt Dewalt OEM batteries of the same spec will perform better but these have done great. I use them for a small blower I use daily for "sweeping" the porch, desk, and doorways. Blower power does diminish as these deplete but I can use the blower effectively until they give out. Of course, generally it is best not run any of these batteries down to zero, change them out a little sooner than that. I bought a pair and so always have second charged. With a small blower, depending on the season and how much nature debris our eastern Mid-Atlantic biome is throwing that day, I can usually do my foyer area, front porch/driveway, and large back deck on a single battery. On a heavy day such as when leaves fall or spring pollen, propeller seeds etc... I usually end up using 1.5 batteries. I don't need Dewalt level maximum performance in my application so the price point, quality and value of these are right in the sweet spot. For reference, this is blower I use these with, which I like because it's quite small yet powerful and can be hidden in plain sight, making it all the more handy for light jobs. I had reservations about these. I am a happy DeWalt user. However, the cost of hi capacity branded batteries was breathtaking! So, I gave these a try. They plugged into the factory chargers & charged up without a drama. I then used them on my drill, impact driver & sawzall without any problems. They extended the operational times as desired & then recharged. I have now used them interchangeably with factory batteries for 6 months to great effect.     • Solid Replacement for Dewalt Lawnmower Batteries
The 10ah batteries that arrived with our Dewalt Lawnmower lasted about 2 years before going south. Replacements were more than the cost of the mower, so sought out an aftermarket alternative. Positives: Perfectly fits our existing Dewalt chargers and tools and love that the display shows you an actual % of power left in the pack instead of the number of bars. I cut the same amount of grass with these 9ah as I did with OEM batteries in the same amount of time. Negatives: Our lawnmower runs out of juice and I check the battery and it says there is still 50% power left. I put it in our blower and use the remaining 50%. Perhaps it's a compatibility issue or problem with the lawnmower? For this, I gave the Battery Life score a 2 stars since there is some mystery to it. Given I'm back to mowing for less than 1/4 the cost and it's performing the same job of the OEM replacement without issue, I'm giving it 4 stars overall. This is a pragmatic solution for anyone that is on a strict budget this season. I can't speak to longevity as I've only used them for about a month.     • Working great and better than expected!
When I received my order for (2) 20v 9Ah Waitley batteries, I 1st placed them on my Dewalt charger (4ah) and they fully charged within about an hour. I tested them my Dewalt blower because that thing is a battery hog and WOW, they worked as advertised!! Strong, longer lasting, & I feel like I didn't waste $ on them. Great batteries!! I'll be purchasing more in the near future, as I'm pretty much a Dewalt tool nut. (But the damn batteries cost more than most of the tools!!) This is an excellent/smart alternative for the guys/gals who need to use the tools, but dont or can't afford to pay the ridiculously high cost for the damn batteries! Keep up the quality Waitley, I'll definitely purchase more of your batteries! ... show more

I’ve used Whitley batteries for a while. I have gotten a bad battery but the majority have worked well and I can buy multiple Waitley batteries for the price of one DeWalt. Wake up DeWalt
