Drove about 80 miles after and did the alternator test from Autozone. Everything checked out perfectly. Will see how it performs long term. 12 month warranty gives some peace of mind. Will update the review if it does not hold up long term.

The media could not be loaded. Final update 3/29/26 So I bought another alternator and a new belt from a local store and installed them. No more noise and everything is good. Take a look at the Wagson alternator that failed in the attached video. Edited 3/25/26 So I decided today to drive the car after it was sitting on the driveway since my last review. Call it luck but about 50 yards away from home, the serpentine belt broke and everything went quiet with the engine still running. I drove it backwards to my driveway in less than a minute watching that it doesn't overheat. Guess what! The alternator pulley was wobbling like crazy as if it's barely held by anything inside. This is definitely a piece of junk. Should've bought a better alternator from local autoparts. Don't waste your money. Earlier review. I wanted to like this alternator but unfortunately it is not as good as it looks. The unit I received looked very nice. Worked like a champ for a few days. However, not even a week later it started making some noise. I thought it will be gone as I drove more but it's only getting worse to the point I'm not driving this car anymore! I need to buy a better alternator. The voltage it puts out is still good and strong but the noise is unbearable.
