The Wagner FLEXiO 595 paint sprayer applies coatings 10X faster than a brush and covers an 8 x 10 wall in 5 minutes. The X-Boost turbine delivers the power to spray most unthinned paints and stains, including paints and primers, solid stains, sealers and more. It offering a consistent, smooth finish on a wide range of exterior and interior painting projects such as fences, decks, kitchen cabinets, furniture, interior walls, ceilings, and more. The sprayer features a compact, lightweight design that greatly reduces user fatigue and makes it easier to handle when spraying. This is the first paint sprayer I have ever used. I found it very easy to operate and a much better finish than a paint brush. I recommend watching a few YouTube videos prior to using to get an idea of technique. I have only used on one project so far, the base of a dining room table. I painted it using Valspar oil enriched paint for furniture. I did not need to dilute the paint and got a very nice finish. I will use it next with stain for the top. I can't really evaluate this product yet, because I have not yet used it. I unboxed it, read the manual, and got ready to paint, filling the detail finish nozzle with a primer. Figured I'd need to adjust the power dial appropriately for my material, but when I started playing with it, I realized that something was VERY "off" about it. Turned on the unit (with no material in it) just to verify. Yes. When on "min" power, the thing is going at max power. When I turn the dial in the opposite direction, it goes all the way down to 3.5. This is, apparently, minimum power. AFAICT, the dial was misaligned when it was installed in the factory. Nice. I could probaby live with it, but it would be super confusing to anyone else who tried to use this spray. Going to have to ask Amazon to replace it. Great. ... show more

I can't say anything negative about this sprayer from a function point of view. It was my first time using a paint sprayer and I think the experience was overall what I expected it to be. It sprays paint on with a smooth finish that obviously looks much better than roller or paint strokes that can end up in your finished work. I didn't experience any spitting or sputtering, but this could be attributed to many different circumstances. It will even come down to the grade of paint you're using. Learning how to operate is intuitive. Setup was easy and I didn't find anything complicated. I attribute that to my tendency to read the manuals, especially when I'm unfamiliar with a product's entire makeup overall. If you've never used a sprayer, I highly recommend it as well. Others aren't kidding though when they tell you that the aftermath of using it is where the regret walks in. Cleaning it is a real pain in the you know what and it makes you wonder if it was worth it at all. It will basically need to be flushed in a timely manner each time you use it or you could compromise function in the future. It certainly uses more paint than rolling it on and the prep, dear goodness the prep that goes into being able to use one of these. The over spray is unreal and will attach to everything in sight unless you tape and tarp everything nearby. It would be nice to carry what you're trying to paint into the middle of the woods and let loose, but you can't really do that of course as everything isn't portable and virtually no one would have access to power outlets in the middle of the woods. There are few applications where it's actually practical to use one of these although it DOES make short work of the actual act of painting. It's the in between that you may not want to get involved with. Either way, I recommend it for what it is and consider it a solid product, but the honest part of me would only urge you to consider how useful AND practical if will be for you. ... show more

As soon as I power on the unit material flows - trigger not working at all. Does the same with water. Complete mess. Do not waste your money…….The detail finish nozzle does work.

We started working on renovating our house and I needed to repaint the trim and doors. I started out my usual way of brushing on and rolling over to smooth out which works great, but does take quite some time. For the trim, not that big of a deal. For the doors? Yeah that takes awhile especially when they aren't just flat doors. I had used a Wagner paint sprayer a few years ago which worked great, but my biggest gripe was that it took entirely too long to clean. I saw this pop up and decided I had to try it out. It comes in a nice hard protective case. I also comes with 2 samples of their spray cup liners which I did use and are awesome. It's fairly light weight and balances well when the cup is filled with paint. This particular model has multiple adjustments to really dial in the paint flow, pattern width, and air flow to ensure you're getting the right amount of paint. As for use, I used some cheaper Dutch Boy semi-gloss latex paint from one of my local big box stores. The instructions on the paint said it didn't need to be thinned to spray so I filled the sprayer and dialed in my settings. On my test passes, I felt like it was spraying out kind of splotchy. However, once I started spraying my doors I realized it the paint was going on nice and smooth. Once the paint dried, I inspected my work and am fairly pleased with the results. Now for the part I was dreading -- the clean up. But to my surprise, clean up was comically quick and easy ESPECIALLY when using the spray cup liners. These make it easy to put the extra unused paint back into the can without making a big mess while also leaving the paint cup perfectly clean. What I ended up doing is filling the paint cup with clean water then sprayed to try and and clear out the nozzle. However, once I actually started to take it a part and clean it, I realized that I will never spend that extra time again. Actually cleaning this thing is extremely easy and didn't really take any more time than I do cleaning my brushes and rollers. Of note, I have not tried the detail finish nozzle yet so I can't comment on it, but the iSpray nozzle is fantastic. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this paint sprayer. My previous reservations about using one due to the clean up time are completely gone. The adjustability, maneuverability (light weight), results, and clean up are great. I didn't notice too much overspray, but I would still block off an area if spraying in a garage. 5 stars. Highly recommended! ... show more
