These fit great are very quiet and offer great stoping power. No issues with dust at this point or anything notable. I have not owned them long enough to mention longevity. It’s been so long since my brakes were new I can’t accurately compare to oem. It’s night and day to what I had and I’m happy with the quality. The only thing I’ll say is. While the hardware that you insert the pads into was included. The V shaped pieces that might’ve been used on the top your old brakes is not so you’ll need to use the old hardware there. Not taking off points for this. But the rear set did include an assortment of hardware for different configs so it would’ve been nice if more options were included. Looks like somebody just talk to pads out of the box after buying a box of Wagner pads and throwing a set of Chinese pads in the box and selling it. Haven’t put them on yet but we will see how it plays out all I want is Brakes don’t squeal like the ones I have one there now and I’ll be good with it. Wanted A quality brand-name pad that I’m used to using as a technician. Hopefully these are Wagner pads and I’m wrong. But I’ve seen my fair share of cheap brake pads and these look just like them ... show more

Bought this for my 05 Honda Accord Ex 2.4L 4cyl sedan. Unfortunately, although I bought both Wagner branded rotors and brake pads, these pads did not make full contact on the entire surface of the rotor. Some Accords from 03-07 use two rotor sizes of which I had to replace with the smaller of the two. However, even then the brake pad leaves about a half inch gap between the pad and the hub of the rotor. It does however fit perfectly as a replacement into the caliper, using the included clips and grease. As far as aesthetics are concerned, it leaves a circle of rust now... Stopping is fine and smooth as I’ve always experienced with Wagner brake kits. This was my first time purchasing Wagner products through Amazon as opposed to my local parts store, due to COVID. ... show more

Update June 17, 2019: I recently ordered the QC-914 pads and received the incorrect pads twice - one in the original shipment and then as a replacement. This wasn't Amazon's fault. Instead of pads with the molded sound insulators, pad with metal shims were inside the TQ boxes, with a production date of 12/03/17. I tried ordering from Walmart and got the same result. So I phoned Wagner support. Pads that do not meet their own specifications were intentionally packed by Wagner. Wagner decided in November 2018 to replace the QC914 QuietCast pads that had IMI Integrally Modeled Insulators with a cheaper substitute that has steel shims crimped to the edges of the pads. As far as I can see there is no difference between that shim and that of the QuickStop. They did this without changing the information on their website, the downloadable product information or the carton, and without notifying any of the dealers of distributors. Inexplicably the rear pads are still made as before. The reason I started using ThermoQuiet pads with molded insulators was bad experience with shims detaching and sliding out of position. Having a pad that required no back lube made for a faster, neater, clear job, as Wagner's promotional material pointed out. I won't be buying Wagner ThermoQuiet brake products again but Quietcast which match Wagner's original specifications. ______________ I used the original ThermoQuiet pads on two Honda Elements for more than 10 years. If you follow the installation directions and lubricate just the abutment plate contact points - the "ears" - not the pad backs, they workED great. The first time I ordered these was for a 2004 Element, front and rear. I replaced that Element with a 2008 model that had 80,000 miles on it. The Wagner rear pads I got the second time was of similar quality to the last set I bought, and the stainless abutment clips that were included were a welcome bonus. The back of these pads HAD a non-metallic coating layer that preventED caliper contact squeal. On June 2nd 2019 one of the rear calipers on the 2008 Element seized, overheating the rotor rotor and wearing down its pads. The other side still looked good. The OEM pads still had lots of life, but now that winter is past, I'm tired of the dirty brake dust. The next day I ordered a new rotor and new pads front and rear "sold by Amazon". The rear pads and rotors were exactly as ordered, the front pads were not. These rear pads failed quickly, worn 75% by the end of Feb 2020. i wll ot be using Wagner pads again.
