This was one of my toddlers Santa presents this year and he absolutely loves it! I got it when it was on sale but as much as he uses it, it was worth it. You do have to assemble it but that only took maybe 20 mins and everything you need is included, tools, screws, nuts, bolts, drums, two pairs of drumsticks one small one normal size and the most precious little stool comes with it. It is the perfect size for a toddler. Good quality and so far very durable. Everyone was shocked I purchased this because they thought it would drive me crazy lol but honestly I don’t mind it at all he enjoys it and it keeps him occupied and engaged rather than watching tv!

This is a cute, well-made beginner drum set, and my 3-year-old absolutely loves it. The drums have a surprisingly good sound for a kids’ kit, and the overall build quality feels solid for the price. It’s a fun way to introduce little ones to rhythm without spending too much on a full junior set. That said, there are a couple things to be aware of. The pedal doesn’t stay in place, so it tends to move around while playing making it difficult for a younger child to manage consistently. The drums themselves aren’t perfectly stable, even when the bolts are tightened fully; they still shift from time to time. Despite these issues, it’s still a good-quality set that brings a lot of joy. If you’re looking for an affordable first drum kit with nice sound and decent durability, this one works well just expect to make small adjustments during playtime.

I recently bought the Mendini by Cecilio Kids Drum Set for my child, and it's been a fantastic addition to our home. This beginner drum set includes everything a young drummer needs to get started: a bass drum, snare drum, toms, a hi-hat, and a crash cymbal. The build quality is solid, especially considering it's designed for children, and the drums produce surprisingly good sound. The assembly process was straightforward, and the adjustable throne is perfect for growing kids. My child loves the vibrant color, and it's encouraging to see them excited about music. The included drumsticks are appropriately sized for smaller hands, making it easier for kids to play comfortably. Overall, the Kids Drum Set is an excellent value for its price. It's a well-made, complete starter kit that provides young musicians with a great introduction to drumming. Highly recommended for any budding drummer.

Great drum set for small kids. I bought it for our 3 kids just to mess around with. They're 5yrs, 7yrs and 8yrs. I'm not tall, standing at 5'2. I sat on the stool.. it wasn't uncomfortable, except when trying to press the pedal for the bass drum. Being taller than the stool is made for, I'd have to significantly lean to the side or raise my knee at an odd angle. It's definitely made for my 5 year old at the highest setting. I would say even a 3 year old, maybe even a big 2 year old could sit on the stool comfortably at the lowest without their feet being off the ground. My older two sit fine, but I wouldn't say it would be something they would "grow into." I got the set for them to just bang on and see if they enjoyed drums at all. Just giving them exposure to the instruments. I was surprised by the quality. My husband and I both beat on the drums. Not with our full strength, but definitely harder than the kids. The sound was great. We put it upstairs on the opposite side of the house... with our door closed, we could still hear them banging away, but not as obnoxiously lol. I have no idea how to tune the instruments... if you tune them... but assembly was easy. The instructions were easy to follow. The only thing that confused me was the pedal for the bass drum. Once I figured out that the front support legs were too far out, I lowered them and the pedal attached as it was supposed to. If you want a great quality drum set for kids to experience real drumming (unlike the plastic follow the light toys) I'd suggest this set. Oh, and color matched just as pictured.

I ordered this drum kit for my son a few weeks ago, and I have been disappointed with the quality of the parts. The metal drum mounts spin and move around no matter how I tighten them. The cymbal mount falls into the kick drum a lot, too. Maybe worst of all is the kick pedal. It does not actually secure to the kick drum because the kick drum rim is too small, and it bends if you put weight on it. I am constantly having to try to adjust and reattach the kick pedal. It's insane. I understand this is an extremely cheap set for kids, but at the least, the hardware should secure in place. My son has sort of lost interest in these drums because of these issues. It's really disappointing. I was hoping to buy him a cheap set and then upgrade once I was sure he truly wanted to play drums, but I'm afraid this cheap set is taking away his desire to play. I'll watch him sit down to play, and all of the drums and parts start flopping around, and he gets up and walks away. If I let him play on my drum kit, he will happily keep playing as long as I let him. I am now regretting not spending more on a name-brand set, because I think the hardware would have held up, and I probably could have resold it when he outgrew it. Instead, I saved a little bit of money and got a drum set I will have to give away or throw in the trash. Again, I did not expect a Ludwig-quality set, but I wanted one that would work as expected. I didn't pay much for this drum set, but I still don't think the build-quality matches the price.
