Since the day these were installed they've been terrible. At first they were heating up so bad I could feel it through the floorboard, and then that stopped I guess when they were 'worn in'. That's when the squealing started, everytime I'd back up they'd start squealing. I thought they were dirty or something was in them so I'd go wash them out but then it would get worse while wet. Also, sometimes while at a light or stop sign when my foot was on the brake the brake would push up real hard, and then go back down and the car would jerk, like there were air pockets in the brake lines. After 22 days that they were installed the pads are completely worn down. It's just metal to metal. 22 DAYS! I didn't expect them to outperform ac Delco or Goodyear brakes but seriously, 22 days?? ... show more

About a month ago, I began to hear the telltale squeal that indicated my brakes needed some work. My brother-in-law, who is a military mechanic, offered to take a look at my brakes, and to teach my husband and I how to work on brakes. He told me to go ahead and order pads, and he recommended these. I got them for $13, and the front pads for $16. My rotors and shoes ended up being in great shape, and my rear pads were all that needed changing. Less than an hour later, my brakes were in working order again. These pads have been great, and I couldn't be happier - only $13 (and a 6-pack of my bro-in-law's favorite IPA 😆 ) to fix my brakes! ... show more

No problem with pad fit, price is great. Only thing I had trouble with were the springs that fit into the holes in the base of the pad. For some reason, these would not stay in place and kept popping out. I had the old ones and used them without issue. Side by side, the springs look the same, perhaps the diameter is slightly smaller on the Wagner so they can't grip in the hole with friction. ... show more
