I purchased this set for a recent beach trip, and I also bought another highly-rated set from another vendor, just in case I didn't like one or the other. I ended up not being a fan of this set due to the way the mask fit. Both my boyfriend and I are short (under 5'5"), and we both found the mask to be slightly large. It fit fine, but more often than not I had little bits of water leaking in. I don't think it had anything to do with the make or material of the mask. It was more a poor fit due to our face sizes. With that being said, I definitely wouldn't recommend for a kid... and if you're short like we are I would possibly look at another highly-rated mask on this site. :) Otherwise, the purchase was good, very high quality, and if we can't use it I know we can always loan it to a friend/family member. ... show more

my friend had this and i borrowed it & had to get one myself. so clear in the water since its tempered glass, the snorkel also has that flap cover thing incase you get hit by waves or anything

Overall it's a pretty good mask for the money. First few times I snorkeled there was no fogging what so ever and visibility was great. After that I it started to fog, but I think it's the issue with all the masks as the anti fog film goes away. I bought an anti-fog spray for this reason and will test it next time I go to a beach..although I'm sure it will be fine. The customer service is great as well! a clip which holds a snorkel broke off, and after I contacted the seller, they sent me a couple replacements without any questions. The snorkel itself is pretty awesome as well. I could be swimming for more than an hour without any problems of breathing. The only two minor downsides are - the mask occasionally lets some water to get in even if the mask put on tight; so probably every 10 to 15 minutes I need to remove it. It could be due to a shape of face or something..who knows.. it doesn't bug me much though. Also, after about 40 minutes the jaw/teeth get tired of holding the snorkel; but it's probably true for every snorkel. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and I bought another one for my better half. ... show more

Dry top snorkel works great, and is my favorite dry top I've used. Mask is not as good. The mask can seal, but it seals by direct pressure to the face and is quite uncomfortable. Good goggles should wrap around your face to conform snuggly. This bundle is probably good and will still do the job if you need a set to go on a snorkeling trip once, but if you dive or you spend more time in water, get a "low volume" mask instead. ... show more
