First of all I want to start off that the color is rather dull not as shiny/bright as it looks on the photos on Amazon. So I don’t really like it. Even the photos that I took myself do not represent the real color. Regards the application: This was my very first time, besides small stereo button, applying vinyl to a complicated piece. I somewhat purposefully wanted to do so, to understand how the material works and how much I can stretch it etc. So I learned a lot. It does stick well, maybe too well, it did pull off some of the finish but mine was already bad so I did not care, and once you get your bubbles out, they stay out. Negative side is, that it does stretch quite a bit but it will not hold. I later learned that actually it is not the so great idea to stretch the vinyl, it’s better to do inlays and overlays if you are dealing with big curves. It did made sense after my experience. I think my first try is actually acceptable, so I’m very encouraged to do it again and apply the Burgundy color from the same company what I like. And again Burgundy Vinyl based by their photos looks a lot darker then it is, so the shade actually is something that I absolutely love. ... show more

Thicker than other vinyl I have used in the past. Definitely not a lot of adhesion on the back. For me Hairdryer doesn't work on this, will need to try my heat gun. Unfortunately already wasted half the roll.

I tried to to stick it to my phone case to have the color I wanted and other stuff but back to the phone case it wouldn't stick. It has stick I don't know why is wasn't till I used my heat gun on low it made it workable more flex it would say I don't seem to have peeling g so that is good so far hope it stays that way ... show more

Once u get it to stick its good and looks good. But getting it to stick is the difficult part. I'd suggest getting the adhesive spray. And also this is nit stretchy at all. It's very thick.

I've had other carbon fiber vinyls that had a slightly better feel and applicability, so that is where the 1 star knock comes from. I would buy it again for the price being fair and the color was exactly what I wanted at the time but I've since put out the money to get my car painted a different color and paint a few other things/areas that work better with a blue carbon fiber. One tip is make sure to have a proper hot air gun for this one, as some work well enough with a decently powerful hair dryer but when I forgot my hot air gun when going to a friends place to apply some of this... Well, we ended up getting frustrated trying to use the hair dryer and rescheduling for a time I remembered to bring the hot air gun. ... show more
