Go elsewhere. Seriously, get 3M, or anything else. If you're considering this wrap to wrap your entire car, don't do it. Kept getting "fingers/wrinkles" no matter what. Yeah, you can take it out with heat, but then you literally have to work mm by mm to get it to cooperate with you. The tackiness is...strange. Some parts seemed tackier than others. I had to wrap around a trim--making sure I pressed it tightly around it. The next day it lifted from the trim causing a bubble in the center. If there was an actual air release, or if it would have adhered better, the bubble shouldn't have been there. Less than a quarter through the roll, there were SEVERAL (at least 10) feet of damaged vinyl. I contacted Amazon and they told me I needed to return it. It was over a week, I no longer had the box and it would have just been more of a hassle. If you're trying to wrap a flat surface,then sure, this will probably work for you. I used other brands before and should have stuck with them. That's what I get for trying to save money. Oh, if it gets slightly cold, it will rip when you're trying to work with it. Another reviewer posted a video of his hood wrapped saying to do it correctly. His hood was sanded. You shouldn't have to sand you car before wrapping. I did all the prep procedures and this wrap still came out horrendous. The air release is only in certain parts. I ended up having several bubbles all over the car. Wasted $300 on this product. If you have a sports car with sharp edges, don't even bother. I could keep going, but this wrap was such a headache. I would NOT RECOMMEND at all. UPFATE: Went to peel off some of it after trying to get it to work forever, and it peeled off my clear coat on my NEW AUDI. $&#! this vinyl SUCKS! ... show more

This Stuff works on Almost Anything. I wanted a glossy white entertainment system and the were too expensive online so i built my own almost identical to the one i wanted online and even used it on my pool table. I am about to do my computer table next.

VViVid vinyl is my favorite to use for all my hobby, crafting, and auto wrap needs. Review has been adjusted now that I've had more time to work with the product. Vinyl quality is good, thickness is high and works well for many applications. The issue is the grey adhesive used is also thick, and very gummy. On all my automotive decals, even with low outside temps the glue is running out from around the edges of the vinyl making a very ugly accumulation of grime around the decals. This vinyl would probably be better suited to applications where there are few edges visible. A larger surface area than decal size. Will not buy this product again for this reason. I didn't use this for automotive purposes, so if that's what you're looking for in a review, please turn to the other ones. I purchased these to wrap my table top for my computer desk since I got tired of the old "fake wood" look. This material is very sturdy and comes safely packaged. The finished look is flawless if you spend the time getting out the air bubbles. I in no way work with vinyl wrap for a living, so take this review with a grain of salt, but if you're someone out there looking to change up the look of a table top like me, then this is the right choice! ... show more

Good stuff but its pretty hard to work with.. I have a 2010 Ford Mustang convertible and the white doesn’t match the OEM paint but I still tried to install it anyways. After spending 2 hours of trying to lay it down without wrinkles I was about to give up because I was messing up the vinyl so decided to be creative and and try to make something with what wasn’t messed up.. my end results are pretty good so if you have the time go for it. The media could not be loaded. The vinyl was easier to work with than I though. I applied it over bondo and primer on hood for a Datsun 240z. I plan to wrap the whole car after this attempt. The vinyl itself took me around 4 hours to apply the hood by myself. I would suggest a friend. I used this as a learning experience. It is a lot of patience and taking your time to do it right. Used this to turn my cars emblems white. Got the glossy finish and within a day of hitting bugs and immediately washing them off the product stained. You get a ton of vinyl so I’ll just redo the emblems. The price is still a value for as much as you get.
