Overtime the clear coat on my 20 year old car developed white rings from being outside and exposure to the elements (UV rays, heat, etc). I was blessed to find this black glossy vinyl covering, which matched the existing paint, was easy to apply and a great value for the money spent. Admittedly the application process could have been better if I had used the right tools had been used. Nevertheless, I am pleased with the outcomes and would recommend others give it a try.

Vinyl itself is a bit thick, rigid, unwieldy to work with but maybe that’s a good thing? Helps to install in hot weather because it’s not as pliable or stretchy as Avery vinyl, which was more beginner-friendly. If you like Avery product, this may be a learning curve as it was for me. Still, the color match is great and I’m hoping this will hold up to its current install purpose (bumper) and what it’ll be subjected too. Thickness may play a role. Anyway, highly recommend having a heat gun to stretch during install. Have a good felted squeegee too. Don’t forget to remove the thin clear protective top sheet they put on the product. Mine started peeling and I thought it was the product failing - my mistake! I bet taking it off would be made install easier! Nothing in the instructions mentioned this.

Great stuff. It was my first time wrapping and I did the wing of my Gs350. It's not perfect but the material works well. If you're having trouble heat it up.

Will not stick to jelcoat. I wrapped a bass boat in 3 different colors, white, purple and black. The black and purple were a different brand and they stuck great. The white just won't stick but it's a nice looking product but just don't like boats

Im NOT a paid reviewer of any kind. Just a regular dude trying to be helpful as I rely on reviews alot myself. So this vinyl scratches very easily. By the time I wrapped any part of my car, dirt and scratches were somehow embeded in the exterior. Product is also too thick and not malleable, meaning it only really applies to flat surfaces but struggles wrapping around edges and curves without a bunch of heat. I too noticed it isnt nearly as deep a black as any other exterior trim on my car and looks like a faded black right out of the box. It simply not a quality product and I should've noted all the poor reviews on YouTube of Vivid Vinyl. Stick with 3M, Avery, etc folks.
