  • Installation is a bit tricky, but I love the result
Size: 15ft x 54"
Here's my story. I redid my front yard with turf. Looked great. And then a few months later in the summer I noticed weird streaks across the lawn. We live in the desert. What was happening was the sun was reflecting off the windows and burning lines in the turf. So I got this material to put on the OUTSIDE of the window to block the sun from reflecting on the grass and melting it. I only needed to install it in the windows that were causing a problem. 4 Panes on the first floor and 4 on the second. It can be a pain in the you know what to install. Especially if the sun is out or there's a little bit of heat. The material will stretch and it's difficult to avoid bubbles. We got a good install though. By the last of the 8 panes we were doing pretty well. You for sure want to do it in the shade if possible. Precut it to about 1/2 inch bigger than you need it. Fold down about an inch of the paper backing and line up the top but press against the window at the bottom first and then up. Then go about 2-3 inches at a time, rolling the paper down and pushing it in to the window. Don't use a spatula cause you can easily cut the material. Cut the excess with a blade when done. If you get a crease lift it back up and try again. But if it's hot out it will stretch. Small bubble can easily be pressed out with the back of a fingernail or just you hand because it's perforated. Heat will also help smooth it out and remove small creases. The windows really looked great after it was installed. They still reflect enough light that the HOA shouldn't notice that anything is on there. They haven't yet anyway. It does provide some darkening and solar benefit in the rooms where those windows are. And privacy on the inside. It's been installed for about a month now and it's been over 100 outside and it's still doing good. I doubt that you'd be able to see in from the outside with it installed. But seeing out just looks a little dimmer. ... show more

  • Works Great
Size: 0.5ft x 54"
This window film was very easy to apply. It may appear as though it is too wide for the windshield, but it isn't. It is the perfect width. The film is of a decent thickness and is easy to lift and reposition. I used a small smooth ice scraper to smooth the film as I applied it. Then gently ran the ice scraper over it after I completed the application. The scraper was a perfect width for this. I haven't decided if I will like the look of this for my side windows. But, it looks great on the windshield. One roll was more than enough for the windshield. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Not Good to Block Sun Heat
Size: 1ft x 54"
I bought this to install on my upper windshield as a sun visor. I might have purchased the wrong item as this one doesn't mention it blocks solar heat, although I thought it did when I bought it. I was going to do 3 stars because I bought it for a specific purpose, but bumped to 4 stars in case I expected something this item does not advertise. Pros: Super easy to measure, cut, and install. Goes on the windshield curve beautifully. Adjustable during install. Looks great when on. Good quality. Stretches enough, but not so much that it distorts the circles. Cons: It says it cleans easily, but particles from your cleaning wipe/cloth end up sticking to the edges. Provides shade from the sun, but feels like it increases the heat on the inside. I bought this to use as a visor in my car, to block sun and heat. I tested the idea with another type of diy window tint. The test worked great. This perferated stuff provides shade, but it feels hotter in the car. I live in the desert, this probably isn't a concern for areas without as much sun. I might put it on a window in my house that could use privacy, but definitely not one that gets direct sunlight. ... show more

  • Works great
Size: 10ft x 54"
The media could not be loaded. I'm not sure what everybody else did with they were installing this or if they just didn't do any research in how to install this properly. 1st of all this window film works exactly as advertised. Even being my first time installing tint it came out pretty good except for the rear window where it was curved and needed to be shrunk with a heat gun. That was not the fault of the tint. If you try a few YouTube searches in how to install tint, you know you need a spray bottle filled with soapy water. , spray the window with the water, put tint with paper backing still on and place it against the window. The water will make it stick. Then cut the film/paper to the approximate size. After that you can separate the paper, spray the sticky side of the film and put it back on the window. This will allow you to move the tint around to the perfect location before you trim the film to fit the exact dimensions of the window. The simply squeegee the water out. , and have the window up for a few days on the sun too let the glue set. As you see in the video, it very much provides the advertised privacy. And after about 3 weeks on my truck it's held up to weekly automatic car wash cycles with no issue. Hope this helps somebody. I would recommend this product ... show more

  • EZ install
Size: 0.5ft x 54"
Not hard to cut and install. Air bubbles can be difficult to remove but are invisible from the inside. I cut an approximate size and used a razor to trim. Looks great on my replacement untinted windshield.

  • THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT GO ON AS EASY AS STATED !
Size: 3ft x 54"
I'VE BOUGHT A LOT OF THINGS ON AMAZON OVER THE YEARS AND THIS PRODUCT IS PROBABLY THE WORST, IF YOU HAVE A SMALL WINDOW THAT YOU CAN EASELY ACCESS THIS PRODUCT MIGHT WORK FOR YOU, BUT YOU MUST MAKE AN EXACT TEMPLATE BECAUSE TRYING TO TRIM IT AFTER ITS IN PLACE IS DIFFICULT, ALSO THE INSTRUCTIONS SUGGEST LEAVING EXTRA AND TUCKING IT IN AFTER ITS INSTALLED THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN TUCK THIS STICKY STUFF IN WITHOUT LEAVING CREASES, AS FOR REPOSITIONING IT THATS A JOKE LIFTING IT TO REPOSITION IT CREATES (MORE AND LONGER) CREASES, AS DOES LIFTING IT TO TRY AND REMOVE AN AIR BUBBLE.IF YOUR DOING 6 INCH STRIP SURE IT WILL WORK BUT IF YOUR DOING A REAR WINDOW ITS DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE, AND AT 48 INCHES LONG IT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO DO SOME MODELS OF TRUCK REAR WINDOWS. SO AFTER THREE HOURS OF INSTALLING AND AN HOUR ARGUING WITH MYSELF ABOUT HOW IT LOOKS AFTER INSTALL, i CAME TO THE DECISION TO JUST PULL IT OFF AND CALL THE 27 DOLLARS A LOSS. ... show more
