  • A little difficult to install but worth it
Size: 10ft x 48"
Here's my story. I redid my front yard with turf. Looked great. And then a few months later in the summer I noticed weird streaks across the lawn. We live in the desert. What was happening was the sun was reflecting off the windows and burning lines in the turf. So I got this material to put on the OUTSIDE of the window to block the sun from reflecting on the grass and melting it. I only needed to install it in the windows that were causing a problem. 4 Panes on the first floor and 4 on the second. It can be a pain in the you know what to install. Especially if the sun is out or there's a little bit of heat. The material will stretch and it's difficult to avoid bubbles. We got a good install though. By the last of the 8 panes we were doing pretty well. You for sure want to do it in the shade if possible. Precut it to about 1/2 inch bigger than you need it. Fold down about an inch of the paper backing and line up the top but press against the window at the bottom first and then up. Then go about 2-3 inches at a time, rolling the paper down and pushing it in to the window. Don't use a spatula cause you can easily cut the material. Cut the excess with a blade when done. If you get a crease lift it back up and try again. But if it's hot out it will stretch. Small bubble can easily be pressed out with the back of a fingernail or just you hand because it's perforated. Heat will also help smooth it out and remove small creases. The windows really looked great after it was installed. They still reflect enough light that the HOA shouldn't notice that anything is on there. They haven't yet anyway. It does provide some darkening and solar benefit in the rooms where those windows are. And privacy on the inside. It's been installed for about a month now and it's been over 100 outside and it's still doing good. I doubt that you'd be able to see in from the outside with it installed. But seeing out just looks a little dimmer. ... show more

  • Just what I needed
Size: 0.5ft x 48"
Just what I needed, did not want to put a tint on the upper part of my windshield as it would have probably made it too dark to see. This item was PERFECT. Provided some shielding from the sun but also visibility was not harmed too much. Easy to install, and if you made a mistake it was easy to remove and reset. East to trim once installed. ... show more

  • Keep the sticky side clean during the installation!
Size: 0.5ft x 48"
Went on well, easy to work with. Using a small Bondo squeegee helps. Make a pattern of where you want it to fit, remember that the places where the unrolled film bulges up from the paper backing will change the size of the film relative to your template. Clean the windshield well, use lots of windshield cleaner spray to keep the inside of the windshield good and wet as you will have to peel it off, put it back, adjust, etc. Once you get it in place, you can squeegee the water out and it sticks good. DO NOT drop in on the floor or use a dusty workbench! Any little bits of dust or crud will go through the holes in the film, especially where it has bulged away from the backing, you will have trouble getting them off, and they will show up when you get done. ... show more

  • Terrific Stuff would Buy Again
Size: 0.5ft x 48"
Installation easy , I taped mine to the outside of the windshield and followed the curve of the glass to cut the strip to the shape of the glass there was enough overlap leftover to easily fit into position and still be able to trim in place, with a little help from a heat gun it went on and looks very professional it’s just what I needed the headliner had been out waiting for me to recover and I have no sun visors right now so this is working great . It may have been easier without the headliner in the way ... show more

  • Nice stuff
Size: 1ft x 48"
Sorta like a window tint but probably less demanding to apply. 1ft x 48" did the two rear side windows in a R56 mini perfectly, definitely worth the trouble! Takes the edge off the sun shining on kids/dog and looks quite good as well.

  • Not one way as advertised
Size: 1ft x 48"
Well, you can see in and out so not one way as advertised. I purchased and placed a 6 inch piece on the top of the front side windows of my Honda pilot to cut sun glare for driver and front passenger. The perforated film does cut out some glare but not all. I rate it a 6 out of 10. Sort of worked but not exactly what I had in mind. ... show more

  • IT WORKS!
Size: 0.5ft x 48"
This one-way window film worked great for our needs. We have a 6" x 17" decorative window in our front door that has no type of privacy. The film was easy to cut, and it adhered with no bubbles or wrinkles. I did not use heat as it is sticky enough to stay put without heating. And it works! We can see who is outside our door, but they cannot see in. It seems to be high quality and is a great product at a very reasonable price. A+ ... show more

  • Too soft
Size: 10ft x 48"
Extremely hard to use. The stretch was too excessive which made it hard to put on a flat glass
