I have done vinyl once before. Made the mistake of using cheap vinyl, in one year it burned and pealed off some of the clear coat. I learned my lesson. I bought VViVid and it is fantastic product. Ease of application, looks grand and you cannot tell its vinyl until you get up close and personal and even then it difficult. Good idea, always buy more then you need and use some of it to practice to get the feel for it before starting on car, Having the right tool is essential. I learned from U-Tube, things like the pack of 4 magnets (used to hold the vinyl in place making sure you have the right size and that it does't move while applying. Splitter, a device that allows you cut the paper without damaging the vinyl and don't peel off all of the vinyl backing all at one. It better controled if you do it in sections which you can see demonstrated on U-Tube, (time well spent) You luck with your project. ... show more

My first time wrapping a car, thanks to CK Wraps and the videos available on YouTube, I have decided to give it a try. My first impressions were very positive, easy to work with and very conformable, I have made tons of mistakes but learned a lot from them so the second time should be a breeze. The car was wrapped on 70 degree days with a temperatures dropping to 40's at night, I was a little worried that the temperature swing will cause problems but it didn't, vinyl didn't pull back and so far it stays that way, car was on the driveway day and night for a week. Great alternative to paint, cost effective and much easier to do !!! ... show more
