I bought this inkjet canvas paper to print a "masterpiece" photo of my dog staring judgmentally at the birds Let me tell you, this paper changed everything. The texture is so convincing that I accidentally tried to paint over it with oil paints before realizing it was just my Epson printer doing its magic My dog now refuses to sit anywhere but on top of the framed photo of herself, basking in the glory of "high-quality printable cotton." The photo is so vivid, I swear I heard the printer whisper "You're welcome, Michelangelo" when it finished the print job. Pro-tip: Do not, I repeat, do NOT try to feed this through your printer backwards unless you want a canvas-textured version of your printer’s inner workings. Also, it’s not edible. Found that out the hard way. Pros: Makes mediocre photos look like they belong in a museum. Cons: Now my household printer expects a higher standard of living and refuses to print basic return labels. 5/5, will print more judgmental dogs

I can't believe this company doesn't even tell you which side to print on. I had to try several different settings and both sides to figure it out. These are the settings that worked for me: • Leave in RGB (didn't find any advantage to convert to CMYK) • If you have the option (Photo editing software) you may want to selectively saturate elements in the image (I feel their name "Vivid" implies it automatically prints vivid. I did not find this to be the case - but each printer is going to print differently). • If you have the ability to selectively "dodge/burn" areas for added contrast do it. Otherwise it prints fine without using these features. • If you have the option to choose "Canvas paper" do that, otherwise, I chose Photo Matte Paper. • If your printer has a "Canvas paper" or "speciality" paper option, select that. Mine didn't so I chose "Premium Matte." • I saw not difference in quality by choosing "Best" over "Normal" Those are the settings I used. I haven't printed on canvas paper for a number of years, so I can't compare it to other brands. However, the comparable price point is good. I was pleased with the end result (once I printed on the correct side). :) P.S. I am a graphic designer by trade and used Photoshop for editing.

By far the best canvas/linen paper I have used for my vintage prints. They come out beautifully, both on the white side and the canvas colored side. The paper is thick, but does not get caught in the printer. And that in itself makes it worth it! Highly recommend.

If you use this to print out rugs for your dollhouse like many of us do, this product works just fine but be prepared to fuss a little. The white side is the one most people would use for printing crisp pictures but I didn’t like it for rugs. Too crisp and too plastic with not enough texture. The tan side prints more muted colors and has better texture. (The ink does not dry as quickly. I iron it with a hot iron under parchment paper to help set the ink.) But it is more realistic. I upped the density on the printer and printed on best quality. Also be prepared to fuss getting your printer to take it. In my case, determination won. I am happy with the results and would buy it again. Why bother? It has great weight for rugs and no fraying because of the gesso. And you can pull threads of the ends of the canvas to create fringe on your tapestry rugs. Whether you fold under the edges and glue them or just cut your printed rugs out, you can create rugs that fit your miniature rooms perfectly. Not water resistant.
