This was defect free and easy to apply. I applied using the wet method, and it is slightly thicker than typical vinyl wrap. My first wrap of this size and I found it easy. I love the look and it matches the bikes original paint. I did apply a flat black decal over it for a custom look. I get many compliments on my bike due to the wrap and blacked out look.

Used the black vinyl material to repair an area of blistered paint on my Lincoln right above windshield. Sanded area ,removed blisters with wire wheel , filled any pockets with epoxy and primed with 3M vinyl wrap primer. Very hard to tell area was not professionally repaired IMHO. So far the wrap is holding tight even after exposed to very cold and inclement weather

The backing paper is very heavy duty and tough to remove. I had hoped to get the vinyl in place and then remove the backing as I went. That proved impossible. This is not a job for one person with this material. It is very thick and extremely tacky so it sticks wherever it touches. (Good for long term, but difficult to install). Luckily I got enough to do the hood twice. I had to rip the first attempt off and will try again with a couple friends another day.

The media could not be loaded. Pro- easy to use and Black is deep and glossy Con- because it's easy to use for repositioning, you lose the aggressive tack needed on contours. This vinyl would contour but then begin to bubble back up in the contoured areas. Once it's in the sun it will bubble up even more in those areas. you can press them back down most of the time, pin prick the air out for some but all end up returning within minutes because the tack just does not hold. Conclusion - I was wrapping fender flares for my suburban. I have been cutting vinyl for over 10 years and have tried many brands but this was reviewed as the best black gloss so I tried it. For my project it was a WASTE of time and money. I applied it to the driver side flares only and now may remove and strip them so I can have them painted instead. If that's the case then I do have half the vinyl still unused. I may use it on my hood because its flat or just attempt a return. I have honestly never seen vinyl lose its hold like that, especially within a minute of being applied and pressed. Even tried some heat and aggressive pressure but nothing helped. So if its flat and basic, go for it! Otherwise buy a premium brand!!!

I am a complete novice and would recommend this product highly. This is a very good brand. I didn't know this until after I bought. Plus I didn't realise how difficult mirrors were beforehand either. Damn. I learned a ton and have a lot more confidence doing other panels but the mirrors took me a couple hours each to get right. I took them off the vehicle which was probably a huge mistake. But this product was very forgiving and I was able to restart, heat up and reapply many time over to get something that looks decent. I ended up with a few finger folds but for my first time but I am happy with it. Much smoother than any spray wrap would have been and much cheaper than having a pro do it. A lot of fun overall. Can't recommend enough.
