wood grain looked as good in person as does on here. I wrapped OE interior burgundy fake wood trim in Mercedes interior and re-installed and wasn't happy with the look. Probably would've been fine with anything besides black interior, but looked a little dull and a couple shades off. However, I FOUND A REMEDY for that! I took paint stir stick and wrapped with scrap piece, taped off 4 even sections, and spayed each with a different sheen of clear coat: matte, satin, gloss, and super gloss. Went with 3 light coats gloss finish UV rated clear, and it gave a SHOWCAR finish *Recommend removing trim pieces to wrap, makes it easier to seal edges on back of trim, that requires some trim panel removal tools and watching a video or three. **Almost need to remove to clear coat ... show more

I suspect the product being sold on Amazon is scrap that was cut down and packaged. The description goes out of its way to highlight that the wood grain pattern is lengthwise, however I orderd and returned 3 of them, each came with the pattern cut in the wrong, widthwise direction. If your your object is 12" less this would work, great quality. I called the phone number and left voicemail for the vendor, however no answer. Going to try a different lesser quality brand sadly. Ordered another brand, it came lengthwise, it is more like contact paper, not vinyl wrap, so I don't think it will work for my application. 7/3 - VViVid contacted me via Amazon to understand the issue and may be correct it. I suspect they already have a bunch of the wrong product stocked in Amazon warehouses though. ... show more

The product is the style I wanted but the grain is running the wrong way. The grain runs the width when it should run the length of the roll, which won't work for a car's interior. All 3 rolls I bought are the same way. One roll is cut so bad that it goes narrow as you get closer yo the end. Makes me think how many rolls amazon has in stock that are cut wrong. ... show more

This stuff is amazing, super easy to work with, quality vinyl. Helps that I owned a sign shop and cut tons of vinyl. I bought this vinyl to repair the top of a factory wrap on an older set of Polk Audio RT10's I have had for 30 years. And after attempting several times to re-apply the existing factory viny,l I decided to give Vvivid's product a try. I'm glad I did. Wrap had a few challenges, these speakers aren't square so a curve of any kind you need to manipulate the vinyl with a bit of patience and some heat, worked like a charm. This is not the first time I have used their products but the black wood grain matched the factory vinyl grain. Maybe I can get another 30 years out of them, we will see. ... show more
