To those buying this product, you will need an adhesion promoter since the vinyl itself doesnt have good adhesion. Other than that, the product is decent for the price.

This stuff is amazing, super easy to work with, quality vinyl. Helps that I owned a sign shop and cut tons of vinyl. I bought this vinyl to repair the top of a factory wrap on an older set of Polk Audio RT10's I have had for 30 years. And after attempting several times to re-apply the existing factory viny,l I decided to give Vvivid's product a try. I'm glad I did. Wrap had a few challenges, these speakers aren't square so a curve of any kind you need to manipulate the vinyl with a bit of patience and some heat, worked like a charm. This is not the first time I have used their products but the black wood grain matched the factory vinyl grain. Maybe I can get another 30 years out of them, we will see.

This is phenomenal! I love how you can feel the grooves you see. The black on black wood grain is where it’s at! It makes me wonder why more cars don’t come factory like this! As long as you are competent and learn from your mistakes, this film is easy to use. The flatter the surface the better, when it’s real curvy it can be tricky. But that’s vinyl for you! Some items are hard to wrap, but if you know what you’re doing you’ll be alright. I HIGHLY recommend this product

I suspect the product being sold on Amazon is scrap that was cut down and packaged. The description goes out of its way to highlight that the wood grain pattern is lengthwise, however I orderd and returned 3 of them, each came with the pattern cut in the wrong, widthwise direction. If your your object is 12" less this would work, great quality. I called the phone number and left voicemail for the vendor, however no answer. Going to try a different lesser quality brand sadly. Ordered another brand, it came lengthwise, it is more like contact paper, not vinyl wrap, so I don't think it will work for my application. 7/3 - VViVid contacted me via Amazon to understand the issue and may be correct it. I suspect they already have a bunch of the wrong product stocked in Amazon warehouses though.

I thought many of the other negative reviewers were confused, saying the grain does not run the way it is shown in the picture, but those reviewers were correct. The grain for this runs vertically across the product, not along the length as shown in the image. In other words, the grain is only 12 inches long, not 48 inches long. Besides that, it is shipped so tightly rolled that when unrolling it there are crinkled areas that appear in the wrap, meaning it is very difficult to get a nice smooth application.
