I gifted this watch to my 4-1/2 year old granddaughter who loves everything about Paw Patrol. Her older sister helped her figure out how the games work; but it took me quite a while of fumbling to figure out how to change the clock to the current time. I found a full version of the operator manual online. It’s a bit too large and heavy for her wrist so she takes it off after playing with it for awhile. The battery compartment requires a screwdriver to open, so she’ll need daddy’s help when the battery runs out. ... show more

It’s very cute wearing the watch. Paw Patrol is one of my child’s favorite cartoons, and this definitely meets his interests. It’s lightweight, and the screen is not too small for him to see. Since he’s still quite young, he couldn’t figure out all functions yet. But he loves simply wearing it on a daily basis, and push buttons to see the images that he could show his autonomy. This is a cute watch and is fun for the little kids to use. The display screen is only black pixel images, which I knew, but just something to keep in mind. The display screen is still easy to see and there is animation with the different functions & games. The cover opens and the watch automatically comes out of standby. There is also an "OK" button to press too to bring it out of standby if it's left open and also the "OK" button is used as a "Enter/Set" type button. Paw Patrol is geared towards toddlers and preschool aged children. This watch can be fun, but the younger aged kids, which this is geared towards, are going to need help accessing different options and such. This watch is for ages 3 - 6, but by the time they're 6 and can use the watch better, they're kind of phasing out of Paw Patrol. At least I know my 7 y/o nephew did and so hasn't my 7 y/o daughter. They both kind of like Paw Patrol, but don't really want Paw Patrol paraphernalia and this happened right around 6 or just before. For a watch for little ones to just play with the price isn't too bad. ... show more

I got this for my 3.5 year old daughter who has recently become very interested in time. She LOVES this and is actually doing a good job telling what time it is. She still has a ways to go in learning more about it as a concept but loves to be able to read off the current time to us. It also helps us when it's bed time as well with her being able to see that it's actually time for bed and not just mom and dad making it up LOL. It is very large though and really should be smaller given the age range that they market it to. The band sizing is good but the watch body is like a small brick on her wrist. She doesn't care but it does look a bit ridiculous. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Although cute, this VTech Paw Patrol watch only comes with a demonstration battery. I checked and it doesn't work at all after you go outta demo mode until you go out and buy the necessary battery. That's always a bummer, especially if given as a gift to a child as this is designed for. I wish companies would include everything needed to start. This adorable learning watch made my mom very happy though. She loves cute things like I do. And it does more than her adult watch does, like have an alarm and a countdown and some games she'll get a kick out of to help her memory, long as I can figure out how those work. VTech says they're trying to cut down on paper use, so you have to go online for the whole manual. Another bummer. Ironically, they didn't skimp on using trees to include a long, shiny foldout pamphlet advertising all their other cool products on bright high gloss paper 😂 I love learning toys for all ages though, and VTech tends to make cool ones. This is a cute little toy watch for my 4 year old, I do have to help her out a bit on how to control the games and play but she likes to just wear it. My 6 year old has more fun with this and actually uses the timer more so than the game. It is a cute watch, the band is adjustable and does have an off button when it is not in use in order to save the battery. V-Tech's Paw Patrol Watch is nicely made with a thick and flexible band and hard plastic case. The watch fits my 4-year-old son's little wrist easily and snaps off if it catches on anything. The watch has a small monochrome screen and is controlled by small buttons on the side of the watch. There are a variety of games and activities in the watch, along with an alarm, timer, stopwatch, and the watch itself. My son loves this watch and can play with it for hours.
