I bought this for my 1-year-old niece and she loves it! As soon as she figured out how to flip the pages and press the buttons, she was hooked. The songs are catchy (you’ll find yourself humming them later, fair warning!), and the bright colors and interactive features keep her entertained for long stretches—definitely a win for both kids and adults. The buttons are easy for little hands to press, and the sound quality is actually decent—not too loud or tinny like some other toddler toys. It introduces classic nursery rhymes in a fun way, and I like that it mixes music with early learning (colors, instruments, animals, etc.). Tips for parents or gift-givers: Great for car rides or quiet playtime. It’s durable and compact enough to toss in a diaper bag. There’s a switch to control volume (hallelujah), so it’s not too overwhelming for grown-up ears. Make sure to show them how to slide the little tabs and press the piano keys—there’s more going on than you’d think! Comes with batteries, but you’ll probably need to replace them fairly soon with regular use. Overall, it’s a super cute, well-made toy that encourages music, movement, and language. I bought this for my 14 month old Grandson. He was attracted by this lights and sounds. He loves to turn the pages, even though in this book there are only a couple of pages. The book is designed well, is a perfect size, and actually does quite a lot. The buttons are easy to use. It’s very easy to bring along when traveling. I compared this with similar E-board books and felt that it offered the most. I see it as quite educational and is very enjoyable for him to play with. Bought this for my 9 month old great-niece and she really liked it! It became the new bring along car and restaurant toy. Able to turn volume down so that it wasn’t annoying. She could turn the pages herself pretty well.
