This was a Christmas gift and it has been well loved. It teaches sounds and object names. It also has a cool feature where it has everything in both English and Spanish. This thing has been thrown down the stairs, off of furniture, the works and still persists so it's crazy durable the way I expect a leapfrog to be. It's lightweight so it's nice to pack in a kids backpack and lug along car rides and they don't get bored because of all the features. Its super cute. But I thought every color had different things on it..Id does not except the Scout & Violet one but only.the pictures has Scout & Violet the sounds are exactly the same to a T. My son has dual diagnosis Down Syndrome/ASD and has gone through about 4 of the "Learning Friends" book the 100 words of various categories one. This one is 100 Animals words & he likes it a lot. He is non verbal & he likes this toy a lot. That said, my 9 month old neurological baby girl also likes this. Both of the children, disabled & non disabled enjoy this book about Animals, & other ones in the series. Battery life is pretty solid for a book used hours a day, its lightweight a 2 year old can use the handle to pick it up. Its learning content in both English & Spanish, so babies, toddler and children can learn dual languages! Each interactive page categorized animals by "ocean" or "forest" animals etc. Great interactive learning toy, works well for independent players. WORTH EVERY PENNY! I will definitely end up getting ALL in the series my son loves these SO much, has provided in about 2 weeks several possibly, hundred hours of entertainment for him. Good for any child baby/toddler/Pre K aged whether they do or do not have a disability, this is just a comfort toy to my son with DS/ASD. It gas 2 volume adjustments & it is loud. ... show more

I got this for my 1 year old nephews birthday. The stability for a 1 year. The sound and music were perfect for him. He could carry it. The buttons worked perfectly and the content is perfect for a 1 year old.
